For example, most are pro death penalty and an inevitable consequence of the death penalty is the murder of innocent people.

This does not make them change their view so they can't be very pro life of actual people.

It must be so confusing being a pro lifer and wondering how you get so excited about the death of a few brainless cells but can be blase about the murder of a real person who is aware, self aware, has friends and family, probably dependents.

To resolve the apparent contradiction you probably have to rely on that stalwart of the religious right...

People who are pro life should adopt foster kids or help support the foster program when ever possible in what ever way possible for them. Not all people could adopt and not all have the money to help support the program, but they could baby sit the kids so a foster family could have a day off, or they could make blankets to donate to the familys, there are a number of things someone could do.
