Kinda. Socialism is the superset that includes many different forms, marxism being one of them. Marxism is a socialist system, but not all forms of Socialism are Marxism.

Hitler's brand of Socialism was different and incompatible with Stalins. Just as the Chinese brand of Socialism was different from Stalin's.

The point being that it is entirely possible for two socialist groups to be against each other, just as it's possible for two Arab groups to be against each other. Iran-Iraq war as example... here I thought they hated Jews?

Hitler was a socialist. It was the "National Socialist German Workers’ Party" after all... which we call Nazi.

Of course the over all point in conclusion is: Socialism kills... regardless of the form.

Having a wartime FASCIST leader did not make Germany the power it is today it was America and the UK and Canada re-building and re-financing the ecomony of Germany so that it was in shape to buffer the west from the Soviet Bloc.

Erm... we tried to make Germany pay for the entire first world war. That crashed their economy. That's what led for the Nazis. What does any of this have to do with Fascism? Or for that matter the Soviets? In fact, it was the Nazis that started aggression against Poland *with* the Stalin. We were worried that the Nazis would ally with the Soviets, not fight against them.

I like how you want the thread closed before someone can respond to the re-write of history can be examined.

You see thats just it. In the last 300 years, there has been a single one what would be an arab on arab war. The Iraq invasion of Kuwait and subsequent removal from Kuwait. With the acception of choosing sides in the World Wars, there is very little fighting between Arab nations in the traditional large scale warfare sense.
Unless of course one is willing to admit and consider the current situation in Iraq as a civil war.
