Airbus has one big advantage over Boeing. Boeing is in the US, where it has to pay for employee health insurance, while Airbus is in France, where they have universal health care. Since the US cost for health care is 17% of our GDP, as opposed to France's 7%, big business can operate more cheaply there. Obviously, Airbus beat out its rival not because of "anti white racism", but because of costs. Perhaps when Obama is elected president and brings the US into the 20th. century along with the rest of the developed world (and not one minute too soon, as we're now 8 years into the 21st. century), then we can be more competitive. Until then, we'll just have to watch as the dollar continues to drop against the Euro and health care costs continue to soar.

Point 1) Starting with social costs......here's just a hint for you, it costs shed loads of cash, I mean truck loads!! Believe it or not it comes out of taxation for which the employee and the employer contribute, the employer contributes on average about twice as much as the employee. Consequently they have very good medical services far superior to that which you have. Oh yeah your figures are total bollox the French pay up to 20% of their salary and the employers more. Germany is about the same....I know....I lived there for 10 Years!!

Point 2) The French Unions have a strong grip over French Labour laws thus they have riots there on a regular basis because they don't like having their working hours increased and their pay reduced and their tax increased! The French Government is trying to carry public sector pension reforms through their parliament which was the reason for the general strike a few months ago. As far as their economy is concerned its' a basket case because of the restrictive labour laws and high social costs.
