Boeing loses $40 billion contract .......

I agree, sounds like a novel idea, the Military buying the better unit rather then just buy something that does not meet the standards they them self wanted, just to employ a few people.

And, it'll be cheaper in the long run!

Last I checked the Military was to protect American Jobs by making us safe and killing those who would attack us, thus making it safe for companies to grow and build the economy...not to simply employ them so they can have jobs and make money. I had checked out some of the info on Global Security and they seem to make a good case against Boeing.

To be clear on one point, the mission of the military isn't to protect American Jobs, it is to protect the Constitution, the jobs be damned. That's why the Oath of enlistment is to "...support and defend the Constitution of the United States, against all enemies, foreign and domestic...". Nowhere in there does it say anything about protecting anybody, about the economy, or any of the other things that so many people believe the military is supposed to do. The job is to defend the Constitution, because as long as it is intact, everything else should pretty much take care of itself.

I have been told I hate America....so many times I guess it must be true :)
Oddly I normally I find I am told I hate American when I trying to hold it to a higher standard because I believe we can be so much better then we are. But since they don't agree, it means I hate America,

Higher standards are all well and good, provided that you really are trying to simply raise the bar, and you're not ending up crippling us in the process. As for myself, I'm all for re-raising the bar, to the standards the FF's originally set for us, especially since in the last 200+ years, the bar's pretty much been reduced to laying in the dust.

I'm not the one wanting to see an American company lose out to a French one, nor am I the one who wants to see our military hardware come from the Chi Coms.

Non Sequitur, Argumentum ad misericordiam, argumentum ad metum, and straw man. You use so many logical fallacies that I'm beginning to wonder if your circuit board isn't fried.

Nobody is "wanting to see an American company lose out to a French one". We only want to see that our Armed Forces have the best available equipment at a total reasonable cost, not just a cheap purchase price. If Boeing had produced the best AIRCRAFT, then I'd want the USAF to buy it, but they didn't, so I'm not going to commit the logical fallacy of wanting to spend our tax dollars on inferior crap just because it's inferior AMERICAN crap.

As for your consistent claims of us buying "Chi Com" hardware, put up or shut up.

No one except Libsmasher, perhaps:

Boeing loses $40 billion contract .......
........ to Airbus. This is great news - Boeing is one of the worst anti-white racist companies in the world - always good to see them get kicked in the crotch, ESPECIALLY when their F15 and C17 is winding down too.

OK. Here you go.

WASHINGTON - The U.S. Army has approved the purchase of more than $29 million worth of weapons for the new Iraqi army from a Chinese state-owned company that's under indictment in California in connection with the smuggling of 2,000 AK-47 automatic rifles into the United States in 1996.

Is hating a major US industry and hoping that their foreign competition beats it the same as hating America? Why, I think it is. You must be one of those America hating libs!

That's a good one! "If you hate Boeing, you hate America." :D Maybe that could be their company slogan. Boeing is an anti-white racist company which came up with an inferior product. Screw 'em.

I guess so long as you don't hate McDonalds, Starbucks, and General Motors, maybe you're redeemed. It could be that you aren't an America hating lib after all.:D

Most of corporate america is f___ed, as I said, they are the butt kissers of the left:

- they institute draconian PC anti-harasssment policies authored by feminists
- there is nothing they support more strongly than anti-white male discrimination
- they run anti-white male advertisements
- they go along with racist corporate shakedowns by Jesse Jackson's protection racket
- they give benefits to homosexual "partners", while not offering it to heterosexuals
- they give money to liberal/left causes via foundations
- they give money to support PC disease research
- they run ecofascist ads ("Yes, we're an oil company, but look - we run some friggin windmills, and we're working on powering cities with banks of chipmunks running in cages.")

Starbucks made a fortune on the idea that people would pay $5 for a $1 cup of coffee, if they could sit around and look cool. GM has had their lunch eaten by the japanese for 30 years.

so you would rather spend more for things that don't do the the job as well...That's good tax policy. And all military stuff made overseas goes threw security checks to make sure we are good on that end as well. Its not like they are going to put switches in them that make them fall out of the air when they hit a button or something.

We're not buying the weapons for us numbnuts (as was your implication, which means that, as usualy, it's the libtards who are doing the lying), we're procuring them for the IRAQI'S! And why would we be buying weapons from a Chinese company to arm the Iraqi's? BECAUSE WE DON'T MAKE AK-47's, and that's what they've ALREADY GOT!

Damn son, you're entirely too stupid to be allowed to BREED!

Also the US does need ak-47 for other areas as well, and for our own military. Special Forces would have AK's as for both black ops and for arming others around the world we support. In any case, I say buy them up, china makes the good cheap ak's and no reason to fear any security risk from it.

Again....from the LIberal......:)

Dang! You really do hate corporate America. You must be a socialist in disguise.

Oh, I see. So long as we're buying them for someone else, it's OK.

But wait. We don't make AK 47s? Where do we get them then? If not from the Chi Coms, then which degenerate socialist country do they come from?

Of course, it is no reach to justify using Chi Com material in the war against Iraq, as it is the Chi Coms who are financing us anyway.

You libs slay me with your mental gyrations and your resorting to personal insult when you're shown to be wrong.

ummm we must ak's are made in China or Russia, and when you don't want to be viewed as the arms dealer, you don't sell your own guns. When we funded the Afghans against he soviets did we send them M-16? no Did we send US made AK'47? no
We went to Egypt bought stashes of arms from them, sent them to Pakistan, and have them bring them into Afghanistan. And for what practical good does it to west Tax money to buy expensive US guns to arm Iraqis just to give a few jobs. Aslo if my info is correct, B-West AK-47's is the only US made one, and most other ak's are more modern versions and from what I hear, not that well made.

National defense is about Defense, not Job Creation to appease voters.

Also May I not Fed Farmer is not a Liberal

I am a Liberal, and I am the one who cares About National Defense, you seem to care more about a few jobs at the expense of the tax payers and a better product that meets the needs better.
