I refer to Michael Brown as a savage for several reasons. First, he stole merchandise from an innocent shop keeper and bullied his way out the door with the loot with no concern for the suffering he caused in his wake.
Second, he ignored a police officer's command to submit himself to questioning about the barbarian theft.
Third, he attacked the armed officer and tried to take away his loaded gun, not even slightly worried about the harm he was doing to the officer and others.
Lastly, rather than obey the officer's final demand that he stop advancing and get on the ground to be arrested he kept moving forward in total rebellion against the authority hired to do exactly what he was hired to do.
Maybe Brown was too immature to realize it, but his actions constituted what analysts refer to as 'suicide by cop.'
