That's wonderful for the people of Africa, and hopefully it will help them out. I'm a conservative, and I don't have a problem with people advancing themselves. For the people of Kenya if it advances them, Great. Where I will disagree, and turn the other way, will be when/if they come to our country and tell us we need to cook with these ovens. My problem is when these inventions infringe on freedom, and rather try to regress our society. Now if the cutting down of trees harms them economically then I will also change my opinion, because more trees are cut down in the world for "organic food farms." I don't subscribe to the idea of it preventing global warming either but again if the oven is functional, and advances them I can support that. I would ask if they had been using wood for fire to cook, Why didn't they use the fire to boil water before? The article makes it sound as if they just gained this ability. Lastly, the line "The solution to the worlds biggest problem" at the beginning of the article......What are they referring to as the "worlds biggest problem"? Global Warming, Deforestation, Unclean water, or Hunger? Or neither?

That's why so many states are passing marriage amendments? Including finally my state of NC putting it to vote. Not to mention when it goes to vote in generally wins in landslides! As far as your Russian politician article....bravo a greeny socialist won an election in a communist country.
