We are about to see it again.
Trumps tax cuts to the wealthy are estimated to cost 7 trillion of forfeited revenue. Either he has plans to increase taxs on the poor or he will increase the deficit. That amount will immediately spark inflation again. The same inflation that he promised to stop.

If you think tariffs will offset that amount, it won't.
That will increase the cost of everything imported by 25% immediately and you pay for it. Basically it's a tax.
The Chinese will reciprocate which will make exports to there unviable so they buy somewhere cheaper. That results in prices for those commodities will plummet, like they did last time.
Its agriculture which will be the fall guys. There will be huge farm sell offs at reduced rates and more suicides like before.

Your problem is you dont know about tariffs and the damage they do. All you ever want was a republican POTUS. Fear not, I will point out to you all the ramifications of his disastrous policies.

One problem facing democrats is the fact that they have never raised taxes on the rich when they had the chance and that republicans never gave tax breaks to anyone that did not benefit the middle class.
