"Biden is right to highlight the threat from violent white supremacists, who federal law enforcement agencies say “promote accelerationist thinking, which advocates committing violence to precipitate a large-scale conflict often framed as a race war in order to establish a white ethnostate.” These extremists pose immediate danger to American lives, as we have seen far too many times, most recently in the horrific mass shooting at a Texass mall.
.
But it is not enough for Biden to talk about white supremacist violence. As he hits the campaign trail in earnest, Biden needs to be far more pointed in calling out how the Republican Party props up and even promotes white supremacists, who threaten our democracy from within.
.
At Howard, Biden quoted former Presidunce Spankys claim that there were “very fine people” at the notorious 2017 neo-Nazi rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. But he didn’t name his likely 2024 rival, the biggest culprit in bringing white supremacists out of the shadows over the past eight years. As Presidunce, he hired staffers sympathetic to white nationalism, embraced some of their causes and espoused racist views. The men and women who attacked the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, included white nationalists like the Proud Boys, whom Trump had asked before the election to stand back and stand by.” Unsurprisingly, Trump hasn’t moderated his views since losing his bid for re-election. Last year, for instance, he hosted the Hitler-admiring white supremacist Nick Fuentes for dinner at Mar-a-Lardo."

Are democrats claiming whites are the greatest threats to Americans because they stir up strife by not agreeing with leftist democrat narratives, or that whites are more dangerous because they actually shoot more of their political opponents and enemies than blacks do?

"City officials in Dallass have paused the implementation of a voter-approved ordinance (the Dallas Freedom Act) limiting the ability of local police to make low-level marijuana possession arrests. Sixty-seven percent of Dallas voters approved the marijuana depenalization ordinance in November.
.

Dallass is the latest Texass city to shelve its voter-initiated depenalization law after Attorney General Ken Paxton filed lawsuits against half a dozen localities for failing to “fully enforce laws related to drugs.”

Dallas? Isn't that where the greatest massacre of cops by a deranged BLM shooter occurred?

"The consumption of THC-dominant cannabis products is associated with sustained reductions in anxiety and depression, according to newly published data in the Journal of Affective Disorders.
.
Investigators affiliated with the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore assessed the use of state-authorized
medical cannabis products in a cohort of 33 participants with clinically significant anxiety or depression. Subjects in the study were naïve to cannabis. Study participants used a variety of cannabis products, including botanical and edible preparations, as needed for six months."

Increase in car crashes and traffic-related deaths

Legalizing cannabis in the United States is linked to an increase in car crashes and traffic-related deaths1. The percentage of roadway fatalities involving cannabis or a combination of cannabis and alcohol more than doubled over a recent 19-year period2.

"Democratic Gov. Josh Green has signed legislation (HB 302) into law expanding the pool of patients eligible for medical cannabis. Governor Green’s signature came weeks after he signaled his intention to veto the bill due to concerns that separate provisions might put patients’ privacy at risk.
.
The
new law, which took immediate effect, permits medical providers to issue cannabis authorizations to any patient for whom they believe “the benefit of the medical use of cannabis would likely outweigh the health risks.” It also allows patients to receive authorizations via telehealth appointments."
.

"Eight-seven percent of Americans say that marijuana ought to be legal for either medical OR adult use, according to nationwide polling compiled by the Pew Research Center.
.
The results are
consistent with those of prior Pew polls finding that only about ten percent of U.S. adults support a blanket policy of cannabis criminalization."
.

"Homes experience significantly greater appreciation in value in states where the adult use of cannabis is legal, as compared to those jurisdictions where it is not, according to an analysis provided by Clever Real Estate.
.
States with legal recreational cannabis have seen home values climb by $222,958 over the past 15 years, compared to $162,631 in states where it is illegal a $60,327 difference,” authors of the report determined.
.
“These data should
mitigate concerns that the establishment of regulated adult-use marijuana markets negatively impacts community safety and prosperity,” NORML’s Deputy Director Paul Armentano said. “Rather, cannabis legalization is a proven economic driver. Regulated markets create jobs, disrupt the underground marketplace, and provide for new tax revenues that are redirected back into the local community — resulting in greater economic growth and prosperity, in addition to safer communities.”
.

"Most consumers acknowledge using cannabis in place of pharmaceutical medications, according to survey data compiled by the telehealth platform NuggMD.
.
Of the
485 subjects surveyed, more than 79 percent said that they consumed cannabis, at least in part, as an alternative to prescription medications. Notably, most respondents did not participate in state-sanctioned medical marijuana access programs."
.

"Consumers ages 21 and older will be able to purchase cannabis products from licensed retailers beginning on August 1st, according to an announcement by the state’s Marijuana Commissioner.
.
Lawmakers approved legislation
more than two years ago regulating the adult-use marijuana market."
.

"Senate Republicans indicated Thursday they plan to move forward with the nomination of Terrance Cole, President Donald Trump’s choice to lead the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
.
At the top of
Coles to-do list for operators in the legal cannabis industry is deciding the fate of the marijuana rescheduling process, which has been on indefinite hiatus since January.
.
In a post on X on Thursday evening, the Senate Republican Cloakroom said it would call a vote to “invoke cloture,” or end
debate and trigger an up / down vote on Cole’s nomination, at 5:30 p.m. Monday.
.

Reclassifying cannabis as a Schedule 3 drug, down from its current Schedule 1 status, would at last unlock profound tax relief for legal cannabis companies.
.

Downgrading marijuana under federal law is also expected to open opportunities for research and further reforms, such as banking reform."

"Pennsylvania is one of the largest medical-only marijuana markets in the U.S. that’s still waiting for adult-use legalization.
.
Legal
cannabis could net the state as much as $2.1 Billion in sales in year one, according to an economic study commissioned by legalization advocacy group Responsible PA.
.
In May, the state House
passed a legalization bill for the first time in state history.
.
However, the state Senate ultimately
rejected House Bill 1200, which would have legalized cannabis sales to adults 21 and over but restricted legal retail to state-run stores."

Two pilots and a flight attendant were smoking weed and discussing trivial matters right before takeoff, all if which was against the rules for good reason. Dozens were killed in the accident that was in part caused by loss of alertness from the weed.

During their first four minutes on board, the captain, the co-pilot and the commissioner talked about trivial matters in good spirits, focusing on the commissioner's personal issues. When the commissioner left the cockpit, the conversation changed tone and matter as they discussed a controversial situation about their relationship. The captain said, after a reproach from the co-pilot, that he was "going through bad times," to which the copilot replied that he was also having a bad day.

Without interrupting the conversation and as part of it, the reading of the Procedures Control List (PCL) for the aircraft started, mixed with the personal issues that worried them and that led them to misread the procedure checklist.

This confusing situation, in which the PCL was interspersed with conversation irrelevant to the crew's task, persisted during "push back," engine start and taxiing, up to the moment of take-off, which was delayed by other aircraft waiting ahead of the LAPA flight and heavy arriving traffic.

During this final wait, the three men were smoking in the cockpit and their conversation could be of dubious interpretation.

Take-off started on Runway 13 of the Aeroparque at 20:53 hours, and in spite of overpassing rotation (Vr) and take-off ...
