"Cumulative lifetime cannabis use is not associated with an elevated risk of high blood pressure, according to longitudinal data published in the journal Hypertension.
.
Investigators affiliated with the University of California at San Diego assessed the relationship between cannabis use and hypertension in a cohort (the CARDIA study) of over
2,800 participants. Subjects were assessed at baseline and repeatedly over the following 35 years.
.
Consistent with other studies, researchers identified “no association … between cumulative lifetime use of cannabis … and incidents [of] hypertension.”

Researchers reported
no significant changes in the prevalence of either statewide accidents (compared to Maryland) or local (within proximity to dispensaries) accidents."

"The cannabis industry doesnt have a product problem — it has a communication problem. With so many products on the shelf and no consistent system to help consumers make choices, people are left overwhelmed, confused or misinformed. For wellness-curious consumers, this creates hesitation at the point of purchase and limits long-term engagement.
.
A
science-forward Rhode Island cannabis startup is tackling this challenge head-on with an innovation in consumer-choice infrastructure: the Experience Framework, a modular, scalable retail system grounded in behavioral science. It’s not just smart — it’s proving to be good business.
.
At its core, the behavioral framework is a
simple but transformative idea: Organize cannabis by how people want to feel, not by complicated strain names or raw THC percentages. Products are categorized across three clearly defined THC ranges — Wellness (less than 10%), Lifestyle (10–18%) and Recreational (more than 18%) — and further grouped by intended effects such as calm, focus, uplift or relief."

TOO MUCH SENSE!!!!

This would also provide a convenient entry-point for "curious" conservatives....who are finally recognizing they're probably not taking advantage of their share of "pursuit of happiness".

"The results are consistent with those of numerous other national polls' finding that nearly seven in ten voters believe that marijuana should be legal."

Three-fourths of voters may think men should be allowed to force boys to have sex with them, but man-made laws 'legalizing' wickedness will never make wickedness right.

"Members of the Nebraska Medical Cannabis Commission have approved additional regulations limiting patients’ ability to access medical cannabis products. The passage of the new rules, which await final approval from Republican Gov. Jim Pillen, mark the latest effort by regulators to undermine the state’s 2024 voter-approved medical cannabis access law, which Nebraskans supported by a margin of more than 2 to 1."

Majority of voters are subject to support just about anything, from legalizing rape to selling heroin on the streets. If you like sex with hookers or 'grabbing women by the puzzy' then you are not alone, according to some democrat districts who fully support legalizing fornication, adultery, and perverted sex.

The sex work decriminalization movement has risen to the status of a mainstream political talking-point—and more than half of voters in the United States seem to support it, according to a new poll.

In November 2019, one thousand US voters were polled by YouGov and Data for Progress regarding they would support or oppose the decriminalization of consensual paid sex, while “maintaining laws that criminalize violence.” Of them, 52 percent responded in favor—a nationally-generalizable proportion that the report’s press release claims to be the case for the “first time in history.”

"Although delta-8 THC occurs organically in the cannabis plant, it is typically only produced in nominal quantities. By contrast, the elevated quantities of delta-8 THC found in commercially available products are typically the result of a chemical synthesis during which manufacturers convert hemp-derived CBD to delta-8 THC. Manufacturers engaged in synthesizing delta-8 THC are not regulated and sometimes use potentially dangerous household products to facilitate this process. Lab analyses of unregulated delta-8 products have consistently found them to contain lower levels of the compound then advertised on the products’ labels. Some products have also been found to possess heavy metal contaminants and unlabeled cutting agents."

Legalizing mind-altering drugs to try to cut down on illegal drug sales is a stupid idea.
