It validates the experiences of tens of millions of Americans, as well as those of tens of thousands of physicians, who have long recognized that cannabis possesses legitimate medical utility, as well as the legitimacy of the longstanding medical cannabis access programs available in the majority of US states.”

"Democratic Gov. Wes Moore has signed legislation (SB 439) into law prohibiting employment discrimination against firefighters and other rescue workers who use state-authorized medical cannabis products while off-duty.

I think that marijuana can be habit-forming, like eating the same thing for breakfast each day, or saying a prayer to start one's day, or having a lucky charm. Of course, habits can become physical ravings for some people. But I don't think pot is causes a physical dependence as do nicotine, alcohol, or opiates.
