Marijuana U.S.A.

"Adult-use marijuana legalization markets are associated with significant declines in non-medical opioid use among people who inject drugs (PWID), according to data published in the journal Drug and Alcohol Dependence.
.
Researchers affiliated with Boston University’s School of Public Health and Emory University
evaluated trends in non-prescription opioid use among PWIDs in 13 states following marijuana legalization.
.
Investigators identified
strikingdeclines in the prevalence of daily opioid use post-legalization. “Notably, the magnitude of this decline was equivalent across all racial and ethnic groups and for males and females,” investigators reported."

"Sixty percent of registered Virginia voters favor allowing for the sale of adult-use marijuana products by licensed dispensaries, according to statewide polling data compiled by The Wason Center at Christopher Newport University.
.
The positive survey results bolster the prospects for legislative efforts in the House and Senate to regulate the adult-use cannabis marketplace. Newly-elected Democratic Gov. Abigail Spanberger has repeatedly expressed support for legalizing retail cannabis sales."

That must mean that 60% of Virginia leftists choose carnal pleasures over the love of God.

There is no reason to believe that there is any reason to assume that one can smoke or vape weed and not love God.
Smoking weed is not a sin, the Bible does not even mention it. And the Bible was okay with wine drinking. One of Jesus' favorite miracles was changing water into wine, after all. and FLASH! at the last supper, they all drank wine, which they were told tuned into blood.

By the way, how is "Holy Communion" NOT a form of ritual cannibalism?

Jews oppose Christianity because humans do not have cloven hooves and are therefore trayf, or not Kosher.

I do not think that everyone in Virginia that uses pot is an sort of leftist. A lot of people use it to reduce pain or sleep more soundly.
Also, it produces more intense orgasms. Why? Ask God, he was the Creator, after all. By definition, an omnipotent God could design humans and marijuana any way he chose to.

To the delight of leftists, democrats voter-frauded one of the worst commie progressives into the governor's office backed by a full house of leftist commies and now Virginia will be reaping the damages they are currently bringing. They are rewriting voting maps to eliminate any future republican wins, jacking taxes through the roof, lowering penalties for serious crimes, increasing resistance to federal immigration laws and federal immigration law enforcement officers, and that is just the beginning of sorrows for the people of Virginia.

You have no clue what Communism is. There are no Communists trying to replace idiotic MAGA dolts in Virginia.

"Proponents behind a campaign to repeal key provisions of the state’s voter-approved adult-use marijuana legalization law have failed to collect the necessary signatures to place the measure on the November 2026 ballot.
.
The
effort, which thus far has been solely funded by out-of-state dark money from a single prohibitionist group, seeks to recriminalize the home-cultivation of small amounts of cannabis and shut down the state’s regulated adult-use cannabis industry. Maine is among a number of legalization states, along with Arizona and Massachusetts, being targeted by the group. On Monday, Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt also announced that hed like to see his state’s voter-initiated medical cannabis access law repealed."
.

"Rates of school disciplinary incidents involving cannabis fell in Massachusetts following the adoption of regulated marijuana access, according to state-specific data published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine.
.
Researchers identified “statistically significant
decreases in CDIs [cannabis-related disciplinary incidents] after both medical and recreational legalization.” This decrease marked a reversal from prior years’ trends, when CDIs had steadily increased."

"Police may neither charge a motorist with violating California’s “open container law” nor search a person’s vehicle solely upon the identification of a small quantity of marijuana “crumbs” on the floorboards, according to a ruling handed down by the state’s Supreme Court.
.
In a
unanimous opinion, the Justices determined that the state’s “open container” law should not be applied so broadly as to pertain to situations where police find “any loose marijuana” in a motor vehicle. Rather, the court decided that the marijuana “must be of a usable quantity, in imminently usable condition, and readily accessible to an occupant” to constitute a violation of the state’s “open container” law."
.

"Election officials and the state’s Attorney General announced this week that petitioners behind a proposed ballot initiative legalizing adult-use retail marijuana sales had failed to gather the requisite number of signatures to qualify it for the November ballot. But representatives with the campaign are challenging the states count and have called the administration’s declaration “premature.”

"Republican Gov. Kevin Stitt says that the state’s voter-approved medical cannabis access law opened a Pandora’s Box and should be repealed.
.
Speaking Monday during his State of the State address, the Governor said: “This industry is
plagued by foreign criminal interests and bad actors, making it nearly impossible to rein in. We can’t put a Band-aid on a broken bone. Knowing what we know, it’s time to let Oklahomans bring safety and sanity back to their neighborhoods. Send the marijuana issue back to the vote of the people and shut it down.”

"Infants exposed to cannabis in utero are no more likely to require emergency department care or suffer from developmental delays than non-exposed children, according to data published in the journal Academic Pediatrics.
.
Investigators affiliated with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill examined the relationship between in utero cannabis exposure and infants’ health care utilization and developmental outcomes.
.
The authors acknowledged that their results were consistent with those of
other studies, finding no differences in ED visits or developmental delays among cannabis-exposed and cannabis-unexposed children."
