We let our enemies combatants roam free so they can harm our country again and deporting people back to their country who are here illegally; now that is anti american???

Hey you two... the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 signed by conservative hero Reagan granted amnesty to certain illegal immigrants who entered the United States before January 1, 1982 and had resided there continuously. Another one of your heroes, George Bush, was a backer of amnesty for illegals as well.

Personally I'm against amnesty, I don't believe you should be rewarded for breaking the law....but you two are attacking as if amnesty for illegals is the sole province of the Democrats, which it's not...both parties are at fault here.

No, that is not what I'm saying. This country was founded on immigrants and there should be some kind of program to prevent people from coming here illegally. My parents were immigrants. They got a visa when they came here tho.
My beef is with Pelosi ussing inflammatory words of "un-american". She should know better than use that kind of language against our law enforcement departments. Those raids have also got rid of hundreds of crimminals who came here illegally to committ crime in our country. Do you think this is "UN-AMERICAN"?

I have been and always have been against illegal immigration and amnesty for those who come here thru the back door. No matter who is in office.

The reason why the dems are getting called out is because of Nancy Pelosi's actions and her rally speach about how "un american" round up the illegals is.

Her state has spent over 30bil on illegals. And think about all the jobs the illegals take from those legally here.

It is also no surprise that the dems want Amnesty. Yes Bush wanted too and so did McCain.

I am saying that our congress and President need to stand up and say no more.

I watched the video clip...that was sufficient. Look, you really want to end illegal immigration make it a felony for an employer to hire illegals..with an accompanying sentence with some real teeth in it. Throw a few employers in jail, and watch how the job opportunities dry up for illegals and in turn the unlawful immigration.

Here's the rub though, many of the employers of illegals donate regularly to Republican coffers...that's why you see the GOP focus on the illegals themselves instead of going after the root of the problem...the employers.
