Saturday and Sunday Texas has been holding it's county conventions to allocate delegates to the Democratic convention based on the caucus results held the day of the Texas primary. Here are the up to date results:

87.5% in

Obama-3,728 55.58%
Clinton-2,980 44.42%

Currently, if that percentage were to hold, Obama would gain 37 of the 67 delegates awarded to the Democratic Convention a net gain of 7. Hillary won the primary part on Mar. 4 delegate wise 65-61 a plus 4. There is still one county out that is an Obama stronghold, so it appears obvious that, in terms of delegates, Obama has won Texas.

OBAMA WINS TEXAS

Primary (Mar.4) 100%

Obama-48.41% 61 delegates
Clinton-51.59% 65 delegates

Caucus 90%

Obama-55.22% 37 delegates
Clinton-44.78% 30 delegates

Total

Obama-98 delegates
Clinton-95 delegates

The final 10% in the caucus results will not be enough to change the overall delegate winner. Obama, in terms of delegates, has won Texas.

Well I hope Obama "wins" the DNC primary. He is the better of the two candidates.

That will of course mean that McCain will face the tougher one to beat. Oh well, I want to see the best win.

I am very conservative but I could support Obama if some of the things he says about himself are actually true and not just a mask.
