God and Christians do hate the wicked but only after the wicked clearly side with the devil against God after having been exposed to God's truth and love in trying to get them to turn from their sins and seek God's forgiveness for those sins.

Psalm 5:5

The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
