That all Ghurkas, past and present, should be granted automatic British citizenship a

There can be no closer ties to a country than the willingness to fight and if necessary die for said country. While that should be more than sufficient, I must add that I have never heard of anyone who had a bad word to say about a Ghurka. Even if the country was 'full', then we should all squidge up a bit to make room for them. The way our government treats these fine people, in our name, is obscene.

The Ghurkas have a long and proud tradition of serving the British Empire. And have continued to serve in the post colonial era. I think any Ghurka who served in the British armed forces should be granted citizenship.
