The Sad State This nation is in Today

What about the handful of deaths you mentioned dating back 25 years in NYC? Abadu Diallo was killed in a confrontation with police who were looking for illegal guns and when Diallo ran one officer fired and lost his balance resulting in other officers also firing their weapons in the confusion. This confrontation occurred after two police officers were murdered by criminals being arrested but resisting. Democrat Bill Clinton was President and democrat Janet Reno was AG. The officers were tried and acquitted. Reno did not file civil rights violations in the case.

Race was not claimed by either side to have been an issue.
Sterling received 4.5 million. July 2016. Obama. Three cops killed after protests by an individual. Another later died a few years later from that same incident. Paralyzed.

Good. The family deserved the money. And those cops were acquitted for their murder. So I really have no feelings about what happened to them.

I want you to notice these things, then stop telling yourself that what the officers did was justified.

While this summary is based on, and consistent with, all facts known to the government.....

The videos show the officers as they arrived on scene and engaged with Sterling. The videos show that the officers directed Sterling to put his hands on the hood of a car. When Sterling did not comply, the officers placed their hands on Sterling, and he struggled with the officers. Officer Salamoni then pulled out his gun and pointed it at Sterling’s head, at which point Sterling placed his hands on the hood. After Sterling briefly attempted to move his hands from the hood, Officer Lake then used a Taser on Sterling, who fell to his knees, but then began to get back up. The officers ordered him to get down, and Officer Lake attempted unsuccessfully to use his Taser on Sterling again. Officer Salamoni holstered his weapon, and then tackled Sterling; both went to the ground, with Officer Salamoni on top of Sterling, who was on his back with his right hand and shoulder partially under the hood of a car. Officer Lake joined them on the ground, kneeling on Sterling’s left arm while Officer Salamoni attempted to gain control over Sterling’s right arm. Officer Salamoni then yelled, “Going for his pocket. He’s got a gun! Gun!” Officer Salamoni then unsuccessfully attempted to gain control of Sterling’s right hand, while Officer Lake drew his weapon and yelled at Sterling, again directing him not to move. Less than one second later, during a point at which the location of Sterling’s right hand was not visible to the cameras, Officer Salamoni again yelled that Sterling was “going for the gun!” Officer Salamoni then fired three shots into Sterling’s chest.

(The police had no real knowledge that this man was going for a gun. Besides, it used to be that a gun had to be drawn before police could shoot, not that they believed he was going for a gun. Louisiana is an open carry state.)

In light of the officers’ explanations of the shooting, the government, in order to prove a Fourth Amendment violation, would be required to (1) disprove the officers’ accounts, (2) prove an alternative account that demonstrates that the officers’ actions were objectively unreasonable; and (3) prove that the officers knew that their actions were unreasonable and took them anyway. The evidence in this case is insufficient to bear the heavy burden of proof under federal criminal civil rights law.

Sharpton hasn't had anything but right-wing accusations and lies about him promoting racial animosity. You right-wing whites refuse to accept the responsibility whites have for the racial animosity in this country. He has nt profited off of anything. he has been out there nearly 50 years. Chrie Kirk and Cndace Owens made more peddling white grievance in less than 10 years than Sharpton has made for 50 years of solid work in the black community.

You are retarded. The evidence was not democrat.

Try educating yourself. Sharpton became a national persona by perpetuating a fraud.

Explain what you call unjustified hatred because there is a record of white racism that is 249 years long, and that includes right now. So, where would the unjustified hatred or disrespect of whites be?
Claiming blacks have hated whites and whites have hated blacks and workers have hated bosses and republicans have hated democrats and democrats have hated republicans and so forth may be accurate, but claims do nothing to address the problem with hatred in humans because of the inherited sin nature.

What you call black racism is not racism. White supremacists believe blacks are racists for pointing out the racism whites imposed and the racism whites practice now.
Blacks calling whites racist and slandering whites because of hatred is the same sort of hatred, racist or not, as whites hating and slandering blacks without justification before God.

No, they do not. About 100 cops die per year nationwide, most of them in non-combat situations.

And spare me the BS about EriceGarner. He was killed by a hold banned by the NYPD.
I admit we cannot trust sources to be accurate, so I will not insist either source is accurate, yours or mine.

How many police officers died in the line of duty in New York, U.S. in 2024?

Law enforcement officers salute after a Syracuse police officer and an Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office deputy were shot dead in nearby Salina, outside the emergency department of SUNY Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.

A total of 40 law enforcement officers have now died while on duty this year, including 13 lost to gunfire, according to the Officer Down Memorial Page website.

Of that death toll, five officers worked in New York, including an NYPD officer shot and killed in the line of duty in Queens nearly a month ago.

Tht's a lie. Stop repeating the police version of these stories because police lie all the time. Rce id hve smething t d with it becuse whites hve shot police, rammed police and fought police and live. Police usually get acquitted, and if you don't think the police departments aren't going to the evidence to protect themselves, you're crazy, so let's stop pretending this means they were innocent.

And I'm not even going to begin talking about the swiss chees defense Darren Wilson got away with.

St. Louis Prosecutor Admits Witnesses Lied Under Oath & We’re Like You Still Have A Job? (VIDEO)

A month after a grand jury decided not to indict former Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson in the killing of Michael Brown, St. Louis Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch admits some witnesses lied under oath. On Friday, McCulloch gave his first interview since the trial with local radio station KTRS 550, where he discussed the case. McCulloch revealed early on in the case, he decided to allow anyone claiming to witness the Aug. 9 shooting death of Brown be presented to the grand jury and doesn’t plan on seeking perjury charges against those who lied.

If witnesses lied and that fact was not addressed in the trial, then the trial was unjust.
I suppose Walter Scott tried to take that taser when he got shot in the back, and that because he was running unarmed, he should have been shot.
Walter Scott fought with the officer and ended up getting shot as he ran away. I agree that the evidence showed Scott being shot unjustly and agree that such evidence without any reasonable explanation to argue for the deadly force justifies the officer's conviction and imprisonment. That is one case every how many years? 5?
I guess Philando Castile was committing a crime. or Alton Sterling, or Samuel DuBose, or Casey Goodwin, or, or, or.......

And of course Derek Chauvin didn't kill George Floyd.
The fact that police department officials lied about police procedures involving subduing violent resistance by suspects being arrested and others lied about Floyd's health issues contributing to his death support the idea that Chauvin's conviction was partly due to black and leftist animosity towards cops more than due to the proper analysis of all the evidence. I believe Chauvin did nothing wrong except for failing to believe Floyd was really in trouble over breathing problems. That was a mistake on Chauvin's part and that mistake caused him to fall to the massive amount of black hatred toward him stirred up by hateful rhetoric and manipulation of facts for the purpose of inflaming the hateful rhetoric.
From the Department of Justice: “84% of police officers have stated in a recent survey that they have directly witnessed a fellow officer using more force than was necessary.” “52% of police officers report that it is not unusual for law enforcement officials to turn a blind eye to the improper conduct of other officers.” “61% of police officers state they do not always report serious abuse that has been directly observed by fellow officers.” 43% of police offers agree with this sentiment: “Always following the rules is not compatible with the need to get their job done.”
Officers do make mistakes and officers can be biased or racist but using that fact to demonize all cops as wicked or racist is itself wicked and racist.
Action Legal Group, The Alarming Statistics of Police Misconduct and Brutality,
Cop-hating leftists commonly trot out charts and data to somehow justify their demonization of all or most cops, which demonization itself is racist, stupid and wrong.
Of course whites as well as blacks have murdered police officers but what does that have to do with the cases you brought up?

Good. The family deserved the money. And those cops were acquitted for their murder. So I really have no feelings about what happened to them.
Far too many blacks like O.J. Simpson are acquitted of serious crimes even though guilty due to inflamed corrupted public mob opinion. The same is true about corrupt whites, especially democrat politicians, who are not even charged when guilty of violating federal laws because, as Comey put it, no leftist court in the country would dare convict them.

Likewise, far too many cops are demonized unjustly by wicked public opinion inflamed by leftist hate speech, with too many innocent cops being essentially unjustly lynched by the mob like blacks were lynched by democrat KKK mobs decades ago.

Sterling violently resisted arrest and that led to a series of tragic actions that led to Sterling's death. Leftists and blacks who went out and murdered innocent people because they thought Sterling was murdered by racist cops for no reason were themselves wicked, racist, and despicable and deserve to be put to death for their heinous murders. The state Attorney General ruled that the officers "acted in a reasonable and justifiable manner," so no charges were brought. Obama's Justice Department also investigated and found no cause to bring charges. America has had enough of corrupted disgruntled mobs to attempting to force law enforcement agencies and courts to pervert justice in the US.

I did not say Sharpton supported evil anywhere. I said he tolerated a racist to get some of the funds he needed to do what was right for his community. Not that he enriched himself. Next year is going to be nasty because one side of the country refuses to live in reality, and that is the right.
Hypocrisy!

I saw it a thousand times. I live in Louisiana. I remember it well.
Stop resisting arrests. Are there all bad cops? No. Are some cops scared? Yes! BLM made it known with protest! Crump and AL got there money. Do they come here every year for his memorial? Oops is there one? It’s only brought up for the “issues” not his life!
