Have any of y'all given a lot of thought to what spending you'd have to cut from federal expenditures in order to balance the budget and start paying off the National Debt?

Liberals do not care about the budget unless a Republican is in office. So the answer is no.

Instead they are planning a second "stimulus" package that will sink us deeper into a depression, following right in the foot steps of FDR.

Of course, the Republicans are big on balancing the budget when they're not in power, too. Remember the Contract with America, and its balanced budget amendment proposal? Remember what happened to it when the Republicans gained power?
