As far as I'm concerned, farmers have been parasites on the taxpayer for decades. I don't care if they all go broke. The voted for Trump so they deserve what they get.
The winner here is china. They will purchase beans etc from other sources at cheaper prices. This is exactly what they wanted. Instead of teaching kids about bloody god they should be teaching them Chinese language.
This era of Trump will be boldly recorded in history as a clear example of what not to do. It's also a reflection on the collective IQ of those who support him. They are clearly mentally ill.
The mid term elections will tell the story.

Trump is screwing up. He is chaotic and disruptive. Our country needs smart leaders, and what we have are dimbulbs and asskissers. Congress should act, as this guy says. Trump oughta read this guy's book. But will he? Naw. He's flipping illiterate as we all know.

Trump even put a 10% tariff on imports from countries that bought more from the US than the US bought from them. He even put a tariff on islands in the South Atlantic that had NO PEOPLE: only penguins!

So oil at $64 a barrel is a bad thing now? Gas is $2.59 a gallon at the pump where I live. Seriously that is bad? Seems to me to be in a perfect place right now.
It can reach a point where companies cannot make a profit and will not be as willing to spend on research and exploration. We had that for a brief time during Covid.
Inflation is now 2.1%. Energy is cheap. Nobody is talking about the price of eggs any longer.
