The Communist Party of China is not buying US farmland. The purchases are made by members of Chinese investment companies, which likely do not have Chinese names and could be registered as Matt Romney did, in the Cayman Islands.

When a person wants to sell real estate, they are most interested in the price offered, so it could be that the highest offer might come from some Chinese investment company, with an innocuous name, like "The Kansas Agricultural Trust, Inc." It well might happen that the farmer wants to sell to the highest bidder: that is most often the case.

Has any actual LAW been passed, or is this just a case of Shitshizpants ranting on Truth Social?
