1. The following are excerpts of February 18, 2026 AFP report from INQUIRER.net:

WASHINGTON — The United States is ready to carry out low-yield nuclear tests to match alleged secret explosions by China and Russia, ending a decades-old moratorium, a senior official said Tuesday....
Christopher Yeaw, the assistant secretary of state for arms control and nonproliferation, indicated that Trump was serious when he said in October, without giving details, that the United States would resume nuclear testing....
Another senior US official, at a UN meeting in Geneva as New START expired, accused China of carrying out a low-yield nuclear test in 2020 and of preparing more explosions with larger yields..... (End excerpts)

(a) Let us take a look at the estimated nuclear warheads inventory, January 2025, of the three top nuclear powers:
Russia 5,459
US 5,177
China 600

(b) Who can stop the self-styled "Messiah" in the White House from doing whatever he likes under the sky, except the Heavenly Superman? The self-proclaimed "Chosen One" threatened land grabs of Panama Canal and Greenland even by force. He threatened to block the opening of a major new US-Canada bridge (which Canada has paid for the entire construction) over the Detroit River. As the captain of NATO, he kicked the ball into his own goal by pressuring Ukraine to cede lands to the Russian invader in exchange for the so-called peace.
He enforced US law on the territory of another state without consent by abducting Venezuela’s Maduro and his wife, ordering military strikes against its alleged drug smuggling boats in South American waters, and seizing its oil tankers in the open seas and oceans.
If he wants to go back to the Ivy Mike-style atmospheric testing in the multi-megaton range, who can stop him from doing so except his "Heavenly Father"? Even if he wants to conduct an Mike-style atmospheric nuclear testing everyday for 5,177 days, it is not a bad news for the entire world because by then the US will have taken the lead in global denuclearization. Then Russia would follow the US footsteps by testing a nuclear bomb daily for 5,459 days. Other nuclear states such as China, India, Pakistan, the UK, France, Israel, North Korea, Iran, etc would follow suit by similarly eliminating their nuclear stockpiles.
Eventually all humans can realize their dream of a nuclear-free world without the nuclear holocaust hanging like the Sword of Damocles above their heads.
