This is NOT a coup to end fatal drugs from being smuggled into the US. The fatal drug is Fentanyl, and Fentanyl is not produced in Venezuela, it comes from China or lab in Mexico, where it is made using drugs imported from China. Many of the drug boats that were targeted were in the Pacific. Venezuela has no Pacific coast; it is hundreds of miles away from the Pacific. None of the tiny boats destroyed were large enough to carry the fuel needed to reach the US, and boats in the Pacific were almost certainly not sent by Venezuela.
The big oil companies are unlikely to spend the huge amounts of money to repair Venezuela's oil industry. The main reasons were (1) an agreement for Venezuela to supply oil to the Palestinian Authority, so this explains why genocidal maniac Netanyahu was in attendance, and (2) an agreement of the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, South Africa and several other countries to buy oil, not with US dollars, but with a monetary vehicle called the Unit.
Abandoning the petrodollar means that the US will find it more difficult to issue US bonds and sell them, enabling the US to continue to borrow to pay the debt. The US will now prevent Venezuela from supplying oil to Cuba, which is already in a crisis due to lack of fuel to generate electricity. Little Marco wants to cause a collapse of the Cuban government, which will be used to justify another decapitation, of the Cuban government and an occupation of Cuba.

The US military is very efficient at conquering lesser countries. They were quite good at defeating Iraq twice, and Afghanistan once, but when it came to running Iraq and Afghanistan, it SUCKED and SUCKED DEEPLY. Iraqis and Afghanis refused to obey the US occupation forces, and the result was anarchy in Iraq and Syria (because Iraq's arms were sold to Syrian rebels, prolonging the Syrian Civil War and the rise of ISIS.
It is unlikely that the US military will manage to make Venezuelans to obey Trump's demands. They believe to a man that Venezuela's oil belongs to them, not Chevron, not ConocoPhillips, not ExxonMobil. None of these companies will build facilities in Venezuela unless the facilities are strongly defended against obstruction by Venezuelans.
