Who do you prefer as commander in chief in times of crisis

Obviously Obama is!
McCain and Palin will lead US into WWIII !!

Moreover, America doesn't need a guy who's only great accomplishment is being held captive in a North Vietnamese prisoncamp for several years.
We need a true peacekeeper, a constructor, someone building bridges all over the world and in America; a true president!

I couldn't have said it better myself!:)

Obama as I type this has an average lead nationally according to RCP of 7.7%. His lead electorally according to electoral vote.com is 343-184. Is "voter fraud" affecting the polls and electoral projections as well?

Lets take a look at the possible outcome another way..Nate Silver, at fivethirtyeight.com currently extrapolates that Obama will receive 51.9% of the popular vote, McCain 46.6%. Just over 120 million voted in 2004, so to make things easier lets go with 120 million. In that case, assuming Silver's figures are correct, if the election were held today Obama would receive 62.28 million votes, McCain 55.92 million...a difference of 6.36 million.

As you can see by the above figures, and if they pan out anywhere close to that on Nov. 4th, to suggest an Obama victory would be because of "voter fraud" is not only ridiculous on a mathematical level but is patently absurd and frankly smells of sour grapes.

How original of you, always highjacking the threads with poll numbers...

Dude, stick to the subject. The fact is, that Obama does not have any experience he will buckle under pressure....

America CANNOT afford another war monger in the White House right now. It could bankrupt us.

True! However, you just can't ignore the Russians doing war excercises near us... C'mon, they're bringing us nuke sub and other war ship and it's cool with all the lefties...
Do you think they're doing that just to come here and smoke a piece pipe??

Is Obama going to turn the other way and ignore the HUgo Chavez and Russia's thread in South America?

These are serious questions that you need to ask yourself about our next leader....

Who would I prefer? Someone like Kurt LeMay or George S. Patton. A man who doesn't give a damn what a bunch of whiney assed little biotches "think" about anything, he'd just go straight for the throats of anyone who messed with us.

Oh, and as for the whiney assed little biotches, he'd smack 'em upside the head and not give a damn what anybody thought about it either.

If you prefer having Russia doing war excercises in our waters.Finding way to penetrate our defenses, then the Radical Obama can be the right way. After all, he loves terrorists....

If you had managed to read what I was responding to, you would have discovered that my post was in response to the suggestion that Obama would win due to voter fraud. Numbers work wonders, and in this case it was proven beyond a doubt that Obama should win by such a significant margin that it is well beyond the realm of any potential voter fraud accusations.

I can understand why poll numbers are such a sore point with you and other Republicans but lets try to keep things in perspective...after all, it's only an election.

I know the rhetoric is good, but an Obama administration, same as a McCain administration will further partisanship. Whoever comes into office will have to take a hard look at the budget and realize they are not going to be able to maintain many of their campaign promises.

This is going to upset a lot of people regardless of party affiliation. If on the other hand they do keep their promises, it will upset another large group of different people. Neither of them will "cure" partisanship in my opinion.

As for Russia conducting exercises in our "backyard" I agree that it is a fundamental problem for the next President. I also feel that much of the reason they are doing this stems back to the invasion of Georgia and the war games we conducted right off the Russian borders as a response to that.

That said, we have to solve the problem with Chavez before we can solve any problem with Russia. I outlined some proposals on another thread, but obviously it is a complicated situation.

I hate to be the one to burst your bubble, but the U.S. was only strengthened through the tragic times of both World Wars. We formed new alliances, some of which ultimately became adversaries. This is the nature of socio-political partnerships.

God forbid another World War, although some would say that we are already in one - but it's in the global struggle between the socialist humanistic philosophies and those of intrinsic human value, individuality and freedom. The state or the individual - who will win this conflict seething under the surface?

Your statement shows no validity. What exactly do you base your assessment of M&P's purpose being of war?

Moreover, America doesn't need a guy who's only great accomplishment is being held captive in a North Vietnamese prisoncamp for several years.

If you really see John McCain in that incredibly myopic view, you need to do some research. You trivialize his service and sacrifice in Viet Nam. You totally disregard his other accomplishments in public service.

Please list any details about Obama that "qualifies" him for your role as "true peacekeeper... constructor...someone building bridges... a true president."

I do not denigrate BO's intelligence, his education, his community organizing or his modest (in comparison of McCain's) years as an elected public official. But if you can show his record as being any less than the most strict and harsh partisan one it is, please! Feel free to share the facts and enlighten us, unworthy as we may be.

U are acting paranoid, blowing things way out of proportion.
Ever considered a job on the stockmarket?

On the "terroristclaim"....lol get real.
You are seeking a path to a bridge that leads nowhere...

Really!! Thanks for the tip! I'll consider it, just like I'll consider Obama as president....

Perhaps, I should've been more clearer...:D

Do you prefer a community organizer who voted 130 times present when his name was on the line and who continues to have radical friends...
Or a war VET who can make better decisions and who has served in the U.S senate for over 20 year?

I would prefer to have someone who is calm, assured, collected and willing to use diplomacy to someone who sings "bomb bomb iran".
