Who would vote for Lou Dobbs for president or anything for that matter?

Do you think that everyone who is not a liberal is against imigration?

I was reading on this forum and a few other places that evil republicans like illegal imigration because they get slave labor dirt cheap. I would assume some of those evil republicans wanting dirt cheap slave labor would like Lou Dobbs, especially since many republicans are really very liberal in many areas. Think about mccain and even President Bush... they both tried to push amnisty and they were .............republicans!

Istead of you guys making fun of the idea that lou dobbs might be thinking of a presidential run to be a spoiler, why not instead say who you think his base is and explain how he figures he has even a small chance in hell of pulling it off?

I think he has no base and has no shot..and I don't think he would run...so that makes it simple

For someone that gets hysterically rabid about any 'RUMORS' {especially about Sarah Barracuda} why would anyone around here 'NOT' think that this topic is just for SH!TS & GRINS...who would take this topic seriously

If you were going to require a serious thought/examples about another hypothetical scenario then why wouldn't we want to make it a fun topic...you don't know squat about whether or not he's actually going to run {for sure} and 2012 is a long-long way from today

You are probably right. It takes backing to run and I cant see where his base is. I am not sure why he is saying he is considering a run, who would vote for him is the lingering question??

He has little base... Druggie Limbaugh Conservatives might jump on board but that's only about 20% of the Republicant Party. If the Republicant Party ever wants to get serious about the overall electorate they need to move away from that way far out there 20% and start looking to satisfy their moderates which are the other 30%... and maybe even some Independents.

remember the syllogism:

CNN is a liberal media outlet, otherwise known as the state run media,
Lou Dobbs was a newscaster on CNN,
Therefore, Dobbs is a flaming liberal who wants to establish a socialistic regime and take away our liberties.

Given that reasoning, how could any conservative support him?

nor will anyone who thinks that a candidate should have some actual experience,

Rush would never join lou dobbs in a national run but your druggie president would welcome it to split the vote of non liberals

I believe Lou Dobbs will run as an Independent candidate & he could probably win, because Democrats are killing themselves politically. I also believe rock legend Ted Nugent will hangup his guitar & run for the senate in 2012, which would upset liberal Democrats big time.

I have listened to Ted Nugent talk on politics a few times, I like what he had to say, what state would he run in?

If a former male centerfold can win on the Republican ticket in an overwhelmingly Democratic state, then anything is possible so long as the opposition screws up sufficiently.
