There are no good reasonable excuses for the lies. Jan-6 defendants who claimed there were FBI agents inciting the violence were silenced and sent to prison because of leftist dishonesty, and democrats were happy to see them brutalized like that. That is disgusting.

“It was just revealed that the FBI had secretly placed, against all Rules, Regulations, Protocols, and Standards, 274 FBI Agents into the Crowd just prior to, and during, the January 6th Hoax,” President Trump wrote on Truth Social. “... I want to know who each and every one of these so-called ‘Agents’ are, and what they were up to on that now ‘Historic’ Day.”

Unless I see the document Trump saw, I don't believe it.
Why weren't they arrested and sent to jail?

Quite alarmingly for democrats the current discovery of hidden J-6 documents tends to portray democrats as dishonest cheats and liars who concocted the whole J-6 sedition narrative in advance just as they had deceived the world for years into falsely believing that Trump had colluded with Russia the way Hillary dishonestly claimed in 2016.
