Now that someone wants to give 95% of the little less affluent hard working Americans a tax break (the under 250K crowd) you all squeal that it's a socialist revolution.

INTERESTING LITTLE FACTOID: We've had a progressive income tax system for decades and decades and decades... on & on!

At one point in time under Reagan the top tax bracket was 70%. And you want to cry about it going back up to the Clinton era (read that good economic times) rate of 29% after all the tax breaks passed around to the very well off under Bush!

THANK GOD PRESIDENT OBAMA GOT ELECTED! I don't think the American people not in that anointed 250K & above crowd could have taken the damage that another 4 years of Republicant rule would have doled out!

Well we should remember when talking about Federal tax rates, that those are not the only taxes people pay.

You also have state income taxes, sales taxes, estate taxes, luxury taxes, etc..

At a Federal rate of 30% (give or take) I think it is realistic to add another 10 plus percent to really cover all the taxes.

Ahh, I misread that. You are correct. The dems are making ad hominem attacks and you did not claim that it was the right thing to do.

They can't win if they argue the merits of their plans so they have to divert attention from it by attacking the right.
