Why are some democrats supporting this?

First they have supported Hamas a terrorist group made of mainly of Gaza residents.
Next the terrorist attack where they excuted 1300 mostly unarmed civilans including the elderly and baby's. They burned baby's alive and people beheaded baby's raped women and cut a baby out of a woman while she was alive.thenbkodnapped hundreds.
And Hamas is trying to get the people of Gaza to stay so they
can be used a human sheilds .
We have democrat Congress members supporting this along with teachers and students .
