I should admit that the original Obamacare mandate was revised because so many Americans erupted in anger at the socialist tax increase.

So technically, the law does still require most Americans to maintain health insurance coverage. But the IRS no longer imposes a penalty on people who don't comply with that requirement.

Obamacare eliminated the ability of insurance companies to exclude people for "prior conditions", which cause thousands of people to go broke or simply die because of the cost of medical care.
