Dems think it's great to make fewer arrests as crimes increase.

"The Department of Justice under President Joe Biden released new data on Thursday, and it wasn't good. Yet the DOJ is seemingly bragging that the "number of federal arrests reached the lowest point in two decades" in Fiscal Year 2021 as if that's an achievement to be proud of.

The numbers come via the Federal Justice Statistics report, showing that "arrests by federal law enforcement agencies declined 35% from fiscal year (FY) 2020 to FY 2021, reaching the lowest level over the past two decades."

Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., called on Democrats to join Republicans in investigating the threat of politicized federal law enforcement after the latest installments of the “Twitter Files” revealed that the FBI paid Twitter more than $3.4 million while the bureau was pressuring the social media company and reportedly undermining Johnson’s probe of Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings.

“The corruption revealed in ‘The Twitter Files’ is only the tip of the iceberg—there’s a much larger story that needs to be uncovered and exposed,” Johnson told The Daily Signal.

The Wisconsin Republican mentioned that the incoming GOP majority in the House of Representatives seems likely to investigate the FBI and other federal agencies, but he urged Democrats to join those efforts.

“I will do everything I can to assist House chairmen leading these investigations. To find as much truth as possible, however, we need Democrats to put aside partisanship and join our efforts,” Johnson said. “Even though the current deep state favors them, Democrats need to understand the threat that politicized federal law enforcement, national security, and intelligence agencies represent to our freedom and democracy.”

President Joe Biden spent his second year as president notching key legislative victories with a 50-50 margin in the United States Senate, but he also demonstrated his ignorance on key issues facing the country.

Biden also continued his record of awkward and embarrassing moments as well as alarming incidents demonstrating his cognitive decline as he turned 80 toward the end of the year, the oldest United States president ever to hold office.

Here are the top 25 worst Biden moments of 2022:

FBI Twitter Files Corruption Is ‘Tip of the Iceberg,’ Warns GOP Senator

lol. ron johnson? hahahahhahah

The New York Times noted last March that Republican Sen. Ron Johnson "has become the Republican Party's foremost amplifier of conspiracy theories and disinformation now that Donald Trump himself is banned from social media." The Wisconsin senator has spent an inordinate amount of time proving the assertion true.

And while Johnson has peddled nonsense about a great many subjects — Russian disinformation, the Jan. 6 attack, the 2020 presidential election, et al. — his most dangerous rhetoric has focused on Covid-19 and vaccines.

Take this week, for example, when the GOP senator — who's up for re-election this fall — appeared on a radio program to discuss his ideas about the pandemic in more detail.

Johnson began by noting that he was infected, but didn't have symptoms. "How do you explain that?" he asked, as if this were evidence of an important larger point. Of course, explaining this is pretty simple: Some people have asymptomatic infections. One need not be an epidemiologist to understand such a simple concept.

But as HuffPost noted, the confused lawmaker didn't end there.

During a familiar rant Monday on a conservative radio show about the merits of relying on the body's "natural immunity" to COVID-19 after being infected with the virus, the senator asked, "Why do we assume that the body's natural immune system isn't the marvel that it is? Why do we think that we can create something better than God in terms of combating disease?"

what a moron he is.
