We here in America have been so flooded with the "Nazi", "Hitler" tropes - that people forget what Russia has gone through - what they've suffered and what has been reborn that is both great, good and quite lovely - and no, we are not faced with an ersatz Stalin, a well-dressed Lenin, a seemingly continuously reincarnated Hitler - and hardly a nation of people, including the leadership - that aches for the good old days of the "anti-historical, atheist Soviet". I will be getting multiple copies of this book to give to colleagues and friends.
