If one of my step kids even as a adult were do something questionable Im involved . I would either be proud of what they had done or feel bad about it making me feel I had failed them in upbringing.
That is fairly normal for a parent .Any time we have a child who was to do wrong or questionable things or good were involved . We raised them and hopefully were good moral and ethical examples our selves . And we hope we installed the same things we value .

Sorry but I never went to college I did work for one and did teach a class there.. I had to work for a living and didn't have anything given to me for free . I was raised on a farm . While I did go back to school to learn a trade a couple times as life and the job market changed I paid for it all myself ,no socialised education no grants no free ride .

If you went to a public school or rode on a bus, used police, ambulance, hospitals, trains, airport terminals and more than likely the facility you live in, you have used socialism.

Its your right to use those facilities but its not your right to be a hypocrite. Thats comes from ignorance and nothing of value can ever be derived from it.

socialism sucks it is just a form of communism as far as I'm concerned capitalism teaches you to work for what you want Socialism teaches you to expect things for free at others expense , I'm not against a bit of socialism that helps people in need . but not full blown nanny state

Socialism is still the backbone in every modern western society.

Like all republicans you hate the thought of someone getting something for nothing. You don't care about the poor and underprivileged and your hatred of universal health care proves that.
The usa is the only modern country that doesn't have that because you were all taught to gate anything that resembles socialism. In your case , communism.
