California had a problem , well another problem lol

Yes the liberal paradise has a spending issue and a tax problem .

Nusom and fellow California fascist state officials have a plan to get around the state's debilitating indebtedness: force cities to cough up more cash to pay for expensive Democrat mandates.

Now they are going to make a wage increase for flipping burger 20.00 bucks a hour.

It will end up causing some to shut down and some to use more automation .

Cali has the highest priced big mac in the nation including Alaska which is super expensive .
Cali constantly do stupid stuff

Every job has to reflect the amount of profit that the employer can make by paying you for your services. As soon as you cost more than you bring in, there is no reason for you to exist. There is a price for everything that is beyond which someone will pay. We don't have street sweepers anymore because it became more cost effective to buy a machine that costs ten times what they paid people, but it can do with one operator what 25 now out of work street sweepers used to do. If you had told the last street sweepers that they would be replaced by a big machine that could do the job of 25 of them and do it on midnight shift, would they have demanded higher and higher wages? Who would have believed 50 years ago that electronic devices would become cheaper to replace than fix? What used to be a skilled occupation almost doesn't exist now. AI is just around the corner and no job is safe now. Amazon has successfully tested retail stores without any people other than shelf stockers. Be careful what you ask for, you might be priced out of the market already...

Here is the result of the liberal lug nut plan

Big Mac Meal - 560 - 1120 Cal., price $ 6.19 to $ 11.79, average price $ 8.64

Now in Cali your talking 18 bucks that is unreasonable ,I expect such prices at theme parksa nd resorts

How many jobs will this cost them and how much tax revenue they will loose and how many will end up closing ,hard to tell .

Every time they raise the minimum wage automation engineers study the market looking for industries that will now be open to buying expensive machines to replace people. Then they design and build that equipment. Machines show up Mondays and Fridays, in hunting season and all the holidays. The UAW (United Auto Workers) peaked at 1,700,000 members in the late 70s, and is now 400,000. That's a 77% reduction in force. There is some price of a machine that can replace anyone. When that price gets below 3 times what you cost annually; adios!

Oddly it was in a business that built rail road cars and a union shop. I worked on a plasma cutter .
Because it was a union shop we made
