Partisan bickering aside, wasn't destroying, or at least attempting to destroy, Assad's ability to fly warplanes justified?
Seems like an vc appropriate response though Vlad does not concurr.Partisan bickering aside, wasn't destroying, or at least attempting to destroy, Assad's ability to fly warplanes justified?
I'd say that bromance is over and that Putin, like so many voters in the US, may be having some second thoughts about who he supported as POTUS.Seems like an vc appropriate response though Vlad does not concurr.
Does this mean DJT is no longer his puppet ?
I don't really think he cares but needs to grouse for internal Russian consumption.I'd say that bromance is over and that Putin, like so many voters in the US, may be having some second thoughts about who he supported as POTUS.
Kidding aside, this is a setback in Russian/American relations, but the Russians will get over it after a little ranting and hooting.
Exactly, which is why there must be some ranting and hooting.I don't really think he cares but needs to grouse for internal Russian consumption.
Won't hurt relations, they need better relations while we just want them.

Hahaha. Would be scarier if he wasnt doing it.Exactly, which is why there must be some ranting and hooting.
The problem with replacing Assad is that the replacement could be worse than the original. The question is whether the missile strike was successful. That depends on the aim. If its aim was just to boost Trump in the polls it was successful as his polls will improve.
If it was to stop Chemical attacks it will be successful if there are no more. But if there is it will have to be repeat until Assad gets the message. It may gain the moral ground for Trump. He mention God several times. This was not reported in the Australian newspapers.
If his aim was to weaken Assad or even replace him. Then Assad is weaken in the west but I doubt he will be replaced.
Well it was the only airport for m ilitary aircraft so until it gets rebuilt he'll have to throw the sarin. The question is whether the missile strike was successful. That depends on the aim. If its aim was just to boost Trump in the polls it was successful as his polls will improve.

Amen to that. Whoever winds up in charge will be dictatorial as its all they know. The problem with replacing Assad is that the replacement could be worse than the original.

Not intended to end the civil war. Just be more civil about it.
