How is this "ignoring the Constitution"? Our constitution is not law in Egypt, and we are certainly not going to abide by anything they decide that goes against our free speech rights. I don't see how the constitution is violated here.

My point was this guy makes a screwy anti-Islam video and the cops bring him in for questioning. I had thought they arrested him, but apparently not.

I was under the impression he was on probation, and terms of his probation were that he was not allowed to use a computer without prior approval. (I'll look again for the source)

Seems fair to ask the question if a computer was used in production/promotion of a movie -- seems that he was questioned on this point alone, everything checked out, and he was released.

Karen Redmond, a spokeswoman for the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, said Friday that Nakoula's federal probation was under review.
Redmond didn't provide details of why or when the probation review was initiated, or how long the process would take.
While on probation, Nakoula can't access computers or any device that can access the Internet without approval from his probation officer.

I agree that throwing bricks is not the same as murder and mayhem. I am not sure if American Christians would take action if Jesus was insulted but I am sure it would stop short of attacking police and damaging property and calling for the beheading of non believers.
IN Australia the Christians have kept out of this dispute only the Atheists have protested against the Muslims
