Democrats exploited our acceptance of a nebulous "Different" and so created
an entity out of "different" which could destroy us.
We failed to recognize the power of a nebulous form of "different." And the Left weaponized that against America.
Ya know, I was a supervisor in factories for a long time. Eventually I came to have & enforce the policy of "No Exceptions" on everything. When you let someone skirt the rules, even just a hair, others will notice and use it against you and demand an exception themselves. Others notice and press you further and that leads to no rules at all that everyone accepts. 2 minutes late leads to nobody feeling constrained by the clock, and 15 man production lines that can't run with 14 people limps along because Fred went to the john after lunch and is lollygagging because he doesn't feel the need to hurry up. Every exception causes disrespect of rules and always leads to more and more and more need for exceptions.
In my experience people live up to expectations and when rules & standards are strictly enforced they don't need to be considered onerous, they are just the way things are. There will always be people who live to game the system. Everyone knows who they are and rather than making exceptions for them, they need to be made examples of and have the rules even more strictly enforced upon them. The others will quietly chuckle and be happy to work in an atmosphere of high standards, which marks them as people who have high personal standards. That's good for everyone who works for a living. They can be proud of themselves and the job they do.
We need to be a lot less tolerant of people who have low standards and don't believe in absolutes, like gender for example, but there are hundreds of absolutes that need to be emphasized, especially as opposed to ignored to be polite and not hurt someone's feelings. Back in the good ol' days if a person of any community standing approached your 5 year old to discuss sex, you wouldn't be convicted if you were tried for doing great bodily harm, or perhaps even homicide. Today the schools feel it's necessary to tell your children that sex between people of the same sex is just fine. This all comes from treating queers as though their sexual habits were their own business. Evidently, such is not the case and we made a mistake. The school system took exceptions to every standard of good behavior and good teaching practices and twisted them into a pretzel, and now must be blown up and abandoned because they don't teach anything correctly, and have no respect for the owners of children. They teach hate and self-loathing instead of the 3 Rs. Good kids go in one end and come out ignorant, disrespectful of society, laws, the principles that created the Constitution and have a poorer future because they spent time being "educated". This, has got to stop; we need to create a separate system that is 100% answerable to the customer and it needs to be done now. Only Trump will shut down the Dept of Education, a good first step.
