Fred Thompson, should he run?

From what I hear out of DC, Thompson was well liked during his one term as Senator although he was considered a bit lazy too. Of course, it also may be his bent insofar as how he does things. He has said if he does run, he will not run and kill himself physically with 18 hour days. That it will be more civilized. There's been some snickering about that.

He does seem rather laid back, doesn't he? However, I don't know that it's necessarily a bad thing. Personally, I think we could all use a little "kickin' back" and not killing ourselves with activity. ;)

Thanks, mamab, that link will start me off in the right direction. What I had in mind was looking at his past senatorial record so I could get a handle on how he tended to see things. This will do nicely.

I'm glad I could help. I was really curious about his voting record, as well, so I helped myself, too. I think, from what I've seen, he votes what he says, which seems to be unusual with politicians. ;)
