I'm sure there are pros and cons to earmarks, but it's way out of control. I think a one year stop will help put things into perspective. After I read this quote from Harry Reid, it kind of made me realize how some Congressmen see things:
"I hope that senators of good will on both sides of the aisle will step forward and say, 'We have an obligation to our clients — to our constituents."
