Exactly.
It's a personal choice, and the person making the choice takes the consequences.
The "choice" you are speaking of is the sexual activity, right?

That's the first choice, if, indeed, it was a choice. There are many others. The "choice" you are speaking of is the sexual activity, right?

To abort or not is also a choice. The question is, who makes the choice? Is it the woman, the man, both, or is it the government? It is the only choice that matters. The others are based on accepting responsibility for that action, or not.

For people with moral values it is no choice, it is a matter of accepting responsibility for your actions, and the consequences of those actions.
The individual always has that choice, to accept responsibility and raise the child, or to terminate a pregnancy. The question is whether the government should try to force that choice on them.
Attempts to outlaw abortion, like most choices made by government for individuals have a poor history of success.
Abortion was legal at the time of the founding to a certain point in the pregnancy. It was outlawed as the morality of the country changed. Then in 1973 SCOTUS made it legal in spite of the fact that 11 States had already made it legal, and 5 others were considering it. So it was the government that made it legal, and it has had disastrous consequences not only for the population as a whole, but women in general.
I don't see where the government is trying to force a woman not to have an abortion by prosecuting those who are running an illegal abortion clinic for late term abortions.
Neither do I.
So, to have or not to have sex is one choice. Once a woman is pregnant, she has another choice to make. It has to be made fairly early on, but it is her choice, not that of the government.
More ********* from the uninformed. Where are the rights of the father in the case of abortion? If the woman decides to keep the baby the father pays child support. If not he has no role in deciding what happens to the baby. He is nothing but a sperm donor, and a cash cow, for the woman. And, of course, the babies right to life has no meaning in the discussion. He/she is just s "parasite" worthy of no consideration. Then we have the issue of the woman voluntarily engaging in the sex act that caused the child to be created to begin with. Suddenly she is absolved of any responsibility for her actions.
But, it is all about "bullying" the women.
Why should fathers have any rights whatever, though obviously if a child is forced to live in this hell-hole as a result of his sex-obsession he should finance it? As you know, yes, it is all about bullying women, because a society that offers so very few satisfactions gives the bullies little else to enjoy.
Your hatred for men qualifies you to be a lesbian, so why are you even concerned about a common sense argument?
That would be hard work indeed. As you know, many men have been fathering unwanted children for thousands of years. and the only choice they made was to telling lies or get off fast. When men bear children they have a right to a say. Working on it, are you?
The sperm donor made the choice to have unprotected sex. If he chooses to be a father, he should have that choice as well. So, the father has no choice, nor does the baby they created to begin with.
