Democrats’ Jan. 6 committee accused of deleting over 100 files before GOP took control of House

The now-defunct House Select Committee on Jan. 6 destroyed more than 100 encrypted files from its 2021 investigation before Republicans took over the chamber, House investigators say.

Rep. Barry Loudermilk, the Georgia Republican leading the House Administration Committee’s oversight investigation, said his computer forensic investigators discovered 117 files deleted by the Jan. 6 committee.

He is demanding former leaders of the Jan. 6 committee hand over passwords to the encrypted files.

It’s the latest twist in a monthslong back-and-forth struggle between GOP investigators and the defunct Democratic-run committees’s former chairman, Rep. Bennie Thompson of Mississippi, about the whereabouts of video recordings of witness depositions, transcripts, and other missing records.

Mr. Loudermilk said there is ample evidence of missing records from the Jan. 6 committee investigation run by Mr. Thompson and Rep. Liz Cheney, the Republican Trump foe whom Wyoming voters rejected in the 2022 GOP primary.

“It’s obvious that they went to great lengths to prevent Americans from seeing certain documents produced in their investigation. It also appears that Bennie Thompson and Liz Cheney intended to obstruct our Subcommittee by failing to preserve critical information and videos as required by House rules,” Mr. Loudermilk said on Fox News.

You're a liar.
Some 'protesters' were jailed for smashing windows and doors, but those violent protesters comprised of political supporters from both sides, formed only a very small percentage of the entire crowd of protesters, the majority of whom were far more peaceful than large percentages of violent leftist rioters in hundreds of violent leftist 2020 protests.

The crime committed by leftists in J-6 judgment seats was to jail opponents of the stolen election the left cannot prove was not stolen.

Hundreds of American patriots have been jailed for questioning the accuracy of the 2020 vote count by judges who presumptively assume but do not prove that evidence of 2020 vote fraud is a lie. Here are two names among hundreds:

Two leaders of True the Vote, a prominent right-wing group that promotes debunked voter fraud conspiracies, were jailed this week after a federal judge in Texas found them in contempt of court.

True the Vote is one of the most prominent conservative groups that peddle baseless claims of massive voter fraud and has championed so-called “election integrity” efforts for years. Their work fueled the debunked film “2,000 Mules,” which falsely claims Biden’s victory in 2020 was illegitimately achieved through systematic voter fraud.
Contempt of court is illegal moooron duh
Not jailed for protesting moooron duh
God you are stupid lol
Stop defending right wing thugs, anti American liar

Doesn't say they broke any laws, lying moooron

Even though the lefties on the bogus biased J-6 committee illegally destroyed records they did not want falling into the hands of republicans, there is ample evidence that democrats unjustly jailed republicans for breaking laws they did not break.
You say “ample evidence” yet you cannot give us a single specific case.

What, Russia media has not given specific exampled

Name some of these cases.

Doesn't say they broke any laws, lying moooron
There is no acceptible justification for the bent J-6 committee members who cherry picked evidence that supported their politically biased erroneous claims and then destroyed evidence that proved their assumptions were erroneously biased.

The Democrat-led House committee that investigated the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol failed to properly archive records, including documents, video of depositions and correspondence with the Biden administration, said a Republican lawmaker probing the panel’s work.

Rep. Barry Loudermilk, chair of the GOP‘s investigation into the House Jan. 6 Select Committee, wrote in a series of letters obtained by The Washington Times that the previous panel did not follow the law or House rules in preserving and turning over all of the data and documents related to the panel’s investigation by the end of the congressional term last December.
