I appreciate your purism in the cause but the fact is government will never be pure so you have to accept that and judge by the reality of the outcome. Calling socialist states state capitalism is really inaccurateas there is no sense of capitalism in it. The US has been walking away from capitalism since Lincoln in favor of cronyism. Cronyism is what you don't care for and neither do I. The state should not be dictating who wins and loses in commerce, That is the opposite of capitalism.

So if the US and any socialist state are just different flavors of rewarding one's friends then maybe its time to look at the rest of the picture. And that does not favor your side.
