Uh, where do you think the money the government hands to the corporations comes from? The poor do not pay any taxes?? Due to their poverty levels, they pay proportionately more taxes than anyone else. You DO understand this simple logic, yes? They are forced to give up a portion of their livelihoods that corporations may survive. In the USA, the poor are in greater numbers than the rich. You do know what that means, yes? You do not believe the rich are paying their fair share of the taxes, do you? But of course not, for if they were forced to do so, they would shut down any of their businesses, and leave the US for better tax havens. I know because I see this all the time here in Canada. It is the NDP party of Canada seeks to tax the fuck out of corporations, something that is ill-advised on my part.
