Lets take a look at 6 tracking polls published today and the respective support, percentage wise, each candidate is getting within his own party.
Rasmussen: Obama-86% of Democrats, McCain-87% of Republicans
IBD-TIPP: Obama-88%, McCain-83%
Research 2000: Obama-87%, McCain-89%
ABC/Post: Obama-91%, McCain-84%
Zogby: Obama-87%, McCain-84%
Battleground: Obama-89%, McCain-85%
Certainly there's nothing to be discerned here. In fact, if anything Obama is getting a higher percentage of Democrats than McCain is Republicans.
Furthermore, Obama, according to these polls, is receiving an average of 88% of the Democratic vote...when you contrast that with exit polls showing that Gore received 86% of the Democrats in 2000 while Kerry received 89% in 2004, one can come to only one conclusion..the PUMAs are most definitely DEAD.
