The results of a liberal controlled school system

Parents who pay extra to educate their kids tend to (1) think education is more important than parents who send their kids to public schools and (2) have more money. So, yeah, their kids tend to be better educated. However, Catholic schools tend to suck at teaching civics and government. Private schools are cheapskates at paying teachers.
