Will someone please make the case for me that the GW economy was better than the Bill Clinton economy?

No compromise ever on big issues. Raising taxes is a big issue. Never compromise on big issues. The whole thing is a set up much like the Ds did to Bush I (a raving progressive fool) who got completely outmaneuvered due to his lack of strong convictions about anything.
The Dems are practicing what they always do...class warfare. Raising taxes will do nothing to fix the problem and just might send the country into another Great Depression, which was prolonged and worsened by another socialist.
Yeah....let's HEAR IT! for....
ALLOWING THE MARKETPLACE TO REGULATE ITSELF!

Fact 1) The following is the official public debt for fiscal years during which Clinton haunted the White House: And guess how they did it..
09/30/1992............$4,064,620,655,521.66
09/29/2000............$5,674,178,209,886.86
Increase in total public debt: $1.61T

you don't think the people who are in charge of running a nation..should maybe be paid just a bit?
average pay for a CEO top 500 company
$11,358,445 ( counting benifits)
pay for Congress person
$174,000 plus benefits.
if you want smart qualified people you need to pay them...why would they run for office when they can make 100 times the cash in the private sector?
Regan must have been a great class warfare guy then, I mean just look at the tax rate under him!
Raise taxes 50 bucks on the richest of rich...its class warfare
Cut the help for the nations poorest by huge amounts...is not?
And don't compromise on the big issues? So in other words....never get anything done...you know in the real world there are 2 parties...and no party gets everything they want....its that whole checks and balances idea...
....IN-THE-RED.
To claim that what the socialist party (D Party) is doing today is analogous to what The Great One did, is to miss the forest for the trees.
Reagan ended the Cold War while generating years of HUGE economic growth to the benefit of ALL Americans with little government debt as compared to today's debt.
.....head-FIRST.
That is proof of my contention that the foolish will believe.
But not enough to give you anything to say about it ?

No pay would make sure of one thing....no one that is not rich already could ever run for office again.
What ever a CEO makes is a private affair. Public workers are accountable to the public Private business can pay their employees based on what they get in profits there is no profit to anything a public worker does, even the post office. They could make a profit like UPS or other similar companies but they don't and their employees make more than the workers in similar companies in the private sector.
I do not think they should get no pay, but they should not be getting the pay they are for the work they do, most productive thing they all seem to do is give themselves a pay raise. It's not like they spent thousands of dollars on their education like a doctor or attorney does. They should get the same pay as a steel worker or other normal American job. That would insure that the people who are doing it, are doing it for the right reasons
But not enough to give you anything to say about it ?
I don't believe ReRon Regan would be the best example of....
.....unless you're talkin'-about check$ written to the Bush Boys...leaving balance$....
