U.S embassy bombing

I have a hard time understanding how incidents like this will help these radical? I mean i understand that don't agree with the U.S. government, but is this really going to help there cause any. Whatever their cause is? I mean this just makes it more apparent to me that these groups need to be stopped and are a threat to everyone who doesn't agree with them.

Sometimes people and groups just seem to loose touch with all logic. I'm sure in the mind(s) of whoever planned this attack it was brilliant.
The theory behind bombing embassies as far as I know is to send the message that the country whose embassy is being attacked is not welcome in the vicinity of the country in which it lies.

It's an example of terrorism. The purpose of terrorism is to terrorize people. It incites hatred and fear into the group that was attacked.
