If what you are trying to call Socialism, exited in country's going back to 2000bc It is not socialism. A program for people does not make it socialism. There isn't enough Socialist in this country to fill a thimble. There are few tenants of socialism but the main one and the one that without it then socialism doesn't exist, is the means of production is owned and run by the state and the sales of that production is designated to the state. Has anyone ever come up to you and said I have a great idea, all business should be turned over to the sates and run by the state and all things made in these factories should be designated to the state for sales. Never happened ,the only way it can happen in this country is if the right continues to exist for the transfer of all new wealth to the top . People will protest that being continued ultimately and a voice suggesting socialism will be listened to
The point I was trying to make is that we have had socialist elements for a long time, forvall the people whin8ng about socialism they don't compla8n about having public schools, libraries, interstates, etc
