It just hit me; What would our country be like should Barack Hussein Obama become our next president and the house will be run by libs. It looks like repubs will lose 30 seats in congress and DEMS could hit 60 in the senate. With noone to watch Barack Hussein Obama and NaNCY Pelosi's liberal agendas, what will our country be like under this regime?

2 major issues come up on top of my head:

HIGHER TAXES

WEAKER HOME SECURITY

What are your thoughts on this?

With the Democrats in charge there could likely be a regression in traditional social values and more controls piled onto our system of socioeconomics.

I'm unhappy about the former and frustrated by the patchwork mentality of the latter.

However, with the McCain Republicans in charge, there might be an adequate focus on traditional social values (it's hard to tell with those "mavericks"), but certainly a lot less controls on the socioeconomic system than otherwise, a condition which, of course, lead to our current economic depression.

The question I have to ask when I enter the polling place is, again, who is the lesser of two evils.

Considering that McCain is more likely to initiate WWIII than anyone in recent history, and, of course, for no justifiable reason, Obama, who will only continue the Democrat war on the unborn, is the lesser evil of the two.

Ron Paul may still be my write-in candidate ...

... However no one around comes close to what I'm looking for.

Your opinion is nothing, new.....

"The tax increase will…lead to a recession…and will actually increase the deficit."Rep. Newt Gingrich (Republican, Georgia)

I guess you need to put a-little-more-effort into convincing the general-public you're right!!

Americans are not seeing the big picture. They're not seeing the truth. When looking at the congressional and presidential races, republicans are losing (according to polls) big time. Up until 2006 the economy was good, we hadn't been attacked since 911. What happened that year? The Dems took control of congress. Look where we are today. Our leaders Pelosi, Dodd, Schumer, Frank and maybe Nobama. Is that the leadership you want? Not me. I was a registered dem up until 2 months ago. Bush has been the scape goat for everything that's wrong. The stock market is the same, people freakin out, fear and panic, get me out, vote for Nobama because they hate everything about Bush. There will be some serious buyer's remorse if Nobama gets to the white house.

According to The Book of Revelations:
The Anti-Christ will be a man, in his 40's, of MUSLIM descent, who will deceive the nations with persuasive language, and have a MASSIVE Christ-like appeal....the prophecy says that people will flock to him and he will promise false hope and world peace, and when he is in power, he will
destroy everything.

And Now:
For the award winning Act of Stupidity Of all times the People of America want to elect, to the most Powerful position on the face of th e Planet -- The Presidency of the United states of America .. A Male of Muslim descent who is the most extremely liberal Senator in Congress (in other words an extremist) and in his 40's. Have the American People completely lost their Minds, or just their Power of Reason ??? I'm sorry but I refuse to take a chance on the 'unknown' candidate Obama...

Well I doubt Obama is the "anti-Christ."

Aside from that however, I do think that Republicans in these House and Senate races need to hammer home the point that they are all that is standing between a country run by Obama, Pelosi, and Dodd.

Opinion levels of Peloisi and Dodd are really not all that great, and if I was advising a person running in one of those races, that is the advice I would give right now. Do not make it about Obama, make it about Congressional leadership, which is not very popular, and you have a better chance of picking up support, especially with the looming election.

I agree with you but this election is very irrational. Most people are angry, I mean angry and voting on their job, the housing market, stock market, blaming Bush for everything (some call him the anti-Christ) and in my opinion an unbeliveable push to get a man of color into the white house. The perception from the Nobama camp is if you get in their way they will run right over you. Look what they did to Joe the plumber. Nobama got on the TV 2 days ago and said "what kind of plumber makes $250k?" I have to believe he lost votes on that kodak moment.

Bush spills over on the republicans and this historic financial crisis is putting anger on Nobama's side. So, I'm stepping back and saying this is wrong. I'm a democrat voting republican. Powell endorsed Nobama this morning. He comes out, steps over the line and pours gasoline on the fire with comments about race, terrorists and socialism. Provocative comments that gets the anger vote on Nobama's side. Can we pile anything else on top of that?

As far as the anti-Christ thing goes it's from a chain e-mail. It's what it is... I'm not a deeply religious person but it looked like a perfect match for Nobama. There are true believers in the prophecies that are probably praying right now. I don't think Nobama is right man for the job. We'll know in 2 weeks. I'm voting McCain.... and think everyone else should do the same.

Maybe with McCain, your country's foreign policy will continue to be brash and reckless, resulting in more terrorist attacks. Maybe with McCain, your country will continue to be reckless in the economy.

Maybe with Obama, he will decide to treat other nations with respect, in order to gain their respect. Maybe with Obama, people will change their opinions of America and its people and realise they are, and always have been in general, a decent, open minded and intelligent bunch. Its just a shame they've had total idiots like Bush in charge giving their country a bad international name.

Maybe with Obama, people will tire of pathetic tactics such as repeatedly calling him the anti-christ, and his supporters Obamabots. Its pathetic tactics that children in playgrounds resort to - continually using some stupid term until other stupid people catch on to using it too.

So is this a revelation from your messiah? Or are you basing your comments on the large resume that your candidate has?

What do you mean "brash and reckless"?

Maybe with Obama, he will decide to treat other nations with respect, in order to gain their respect.

Why should murderous dictatorships be treated with respect?

Maybe with Obama, people will change their opinions of America and its people and realise they are, and always have been in general, a decent, open minded and intelligent bunch.

You can shove that condescension where the sun don't shine pal.

Its just a shame they've had total idiots like Bush in charge giving their country a bad international name.

Bad international name? Among what countries?
