Who's with bush for WW3 now?

I think the one thing Palerider and I have in common is that we can express our different view points, and listen and attempt to understand the views in an effort to exchange ideas, remain civil and ultimately agree to disagree.

When I think of what an actual lap dog is. A little yappy, whiney, spoiled overly aggressive, attempting to over-compensate for the size they lack.
You know Berreal. Take an objective look at everything you have posted here. Who really acts more like a lapdog?

Here is an interesting tidbit from bereal on another thread:

Does that, or does that not exactly fit the definition of a lap dog. He clearly doesn't grasp the science involved in climate change as evidenced by his absolute inability to discuss the subject, but because it did not agree with what his master (algore) has told him, he disregarded it and threw it into the garbage.

He is the only person that I have ever encountered who is ignorant enough to suggest that the earth's past is not filled with examples of advancing ice ages and receeding ice ages. For all the intelligence that displays, he may as well be a red faced bible thumper shouting that the earth is only 6000 years old.

bereal, in case you read this and get the urge to pipe in, notice that you disregarded the notion that global warming has been going on for thousands of years. Exactly how stupid can one person be? Don't you realize that the ice that once extended over most of the northern hemisphere started melting about 14,000 years ago and we are simply seeing a continuation of that process. Do you think that the ice started melting back all those years ago without global warming? Exactly how do you think that the ice melted back some 2,500 miles without global warming?

Yes ..only once again the lap dog is you!! And once again ...you come down on the side of bush ..lol ... I guess this is yet another example of the amazing coincidence!!

I am neither with any of the 2 sides ...cause I know both sides are are backed by their own special interest.

And wait ..which idiot would get a letter from some unknown source in the mail asking them to sign their name to it ..and does exactly that?

If that letter came from the left or from Al Gore himself asking for my signature ...I'd shred it just the same!!

I'm an independent ....which means when faced with a political issue I either stay neutral if I lack information or ask myself what is right or worng based on my values.

You on the other hand ..being a lap dog first ask ...how does this affect ...my-guy!! You first ask ..is this good or bad for bush ...and then act accordingly!!

Thats what a lap-dog does ...its why over and over again you always come down on the side of ...bush and try to convince yourself its just coincidence.

Look its a fore-drawn conclusion ..after all we have seen from bush nobody but a lap-dog would support him today!! Bush could hold up a new born infant and be-head him/her on TV and you would try to rationalize it ...thats who you are bud!

Come on Berreal, you cant poke at only Palerider, why leave me out?

I guess this is yet another example of the amazing coincidence!!
I couldnt agree more. What an amazing coincidence it is.
I am neither with any of the 2 sides
Your right, I would certainly put you into the third or other category

which idiot would get a letter from some unknown source in the mail asking them to sign their name to it ..and does exactly that?
When you move out of your Mother's basement, and establish an adult existence, assuming your ability to handle finances is adequate to get a credit card offer you will see how often people really do it.
which means when faced with a political issue I either stay neutral if I lack information or ask myself what is right or worng based on my values.
Would you care to enlighten us on a single political view you have on an actual issue?, and not the issue of which members of this forum are or not any number of a group of an animal based name.
Thats what a lap-dog does
Wow, you must know different lap dogs than I have come across, but you probably own several. I never had really liked lap dogs. Im more of a husky or lab type guy.
I think of them as whiny, yappy, overly agressive, and annoying. That yet can sometimes be mildly amusing. Interesting enough, that sums up the reaction I have when I read most of your posts.

I have seen some pretty good posts from you Berreal. Quality is way down these days. Did you outsource some of your brain capacity to increase profits?
after all we have seen from bush nobody but a lap-dog would support him today!!
Does this mean the Chicken-Hawks and Sheep have changed alliances? Or just begun to shift into campaign mode for Rudy and Thompson?
Bush could hold up a new born infant and be-head him/her on TV and you would try to rationalize it
As long as the baby was not aborted.

Its been fun for me Berreal. Look forward to hearing from you soon.

Yes ..only once again the lap dog is you!! And once again ...you come down on the side of bush ..lol ... I guess this is yet another example of the amazing coincidence!!

bereal, in case you haven't noticed, bush thinks that we are somehow causing global warming.

I am neither with any of the 2 sides ...cause I know both sides are are backed by their own special interest.

And wait ..which idiot would get a letter from some unknown source in the mail asking them to sign their name to it ..and does exactly that?

I never suggested that you sign the petitition. I simply said that the statement that global warming has been going on for thousands of years is absolutely, incontrovertably true and because it didn't mesh with your master's words, you threw it in the garbabe.

I'm an independent ....which means when faced with a political issue I either stay neutral if I lack information or ask myself what is right or worng based on my values.

Uh huh. Bring forward an example of an independent statement made by you.

You on the other hand ..being a lap dog first ask ...how does this affect ...my-guy!! You first ask ..is this good or bad for bush ...and then act accordingly!!

Clearly, since I don't agree with bush on the global warming issue, you are full of crap.

Look its a fore-drawn conclusion ..after all we have seen from bush nobody but a lap-dog would support him today!! Bush could hold up a new born infant and be-head him/her on TV and you would try to rationalize it ...thats who you are bud!

Since my position on global warming doesn't agree with bush's, it is obvious that you are just yapping to hear yourself yap. I am prepared to discuss the science with you and present a damning case for why gore is wrong. Are you prepared to have that debate?

bereal, in case you haven't noticed, bush thinks that we are somehow causing global warming.

Lol ...and bush is a compasionate leader as well!! :D Good joke bud.
Anyone can say anything ..its easy. And a man who has a following of lap-dogs like you who understands all he has to do is make statements ....will say anything!!

I never suggested that you sign the petitition. I simply said that the statement that global warming has been going on for thousands of years is absolutely, incontrovertably true and because it didn't mesh with your master's words, you threw it in the garbabe.
You want to believe because its part of the ideology you subscribe to go ahead ..I've always said you were a lap dog ...didn't I?

I said ..in no uncertain terms that even if the letter came had written directly from AL Gore ...my reaction would have been the same.

Uh huh. Bring forward an example of an independent statement made by you.
Not a real busy person ...are you? I'll just ignore this.

Clearly, since I don't agree with bush on the global warming issue, you are full of crap.

Why won't you think for once bud? Did you also think bush really wanted comprehensive immigration ...to stop the flood of cheap illegal labor to the US too?
Did you think bush didn't calculate that the ideology you subscribe to would work against his talks regarding immigration. ...your too easy!

Since my position on global warming doesn't agree with bush's, it is obvious that you are just yapping to hear yourself yap. I am prepared to discuss the science with you and present a damning case for why gore is wrong. Are you prepared to have that debate?

Classic bait and switch bud ...ditto for this ...see above.

Yeah, you can say anything. Whether it has any basis in fact or not. If you look around a bit, you will see that I don't believe human beings have anything at all to do with climate change. Clearly, bush and I disagree. In fact, we disagree on far more than we agree on, but you would need to be able to actually comprehend what you read in order to see that.

You want to believe because its part of the ideology you subscribe to go ahead ..I've always said you were a lap dog ...didn't I?

I believe, because it is what the science supports. You are the one who holds a position because it is the position you have been told to hold. You obviously don't grasp the sicence as evidenced by your juvenile name calling in lieu of actual discussion of the topic.

I said ..in no uncertain terms that even if the letter came had written directly from AL Gore ...my reaction would have been the same.

So now we have incontrovertable proof that you are a liar. You said:

Obvioulsy I shred the document and threw it in the garbage.

Politically though ..I'd vote for Gore over Hillary any day.

Looking back I think what helped sink Gore in '00 was Joe-jew-Liberman and his AIPAC agenda!

https://www.houseofpolitics.com/forum/showpost.php?p=24037&postcount=2

Clearly, you did not say that you would throw the document in the trash if it came from gore. In fact, rather than suggest that you would throw it way, you pointed out your support for your master. I am not sure why you tossed in the anti semitism but I am sure you had your own twisted little reasons.

As I said, it is you who is the lap dog. And a lying lap dog you are. You followed that statement with :

https://www.houseofpolitics.com/forum/showpost.php?p=24046&postcount=7

Which was your entire contribution to the thread. You had nothing else to say on either the topic, or the letter you received. Clearly, you lied.

Not a real busy person ...are you? I'll just ignore this.

Of course you will. That is because you can't bring forward an example of independent thinking on your part. I, however, could easily provide, in your own words, rock solid evidence that you are both a liar, and a lap dog.

Why won't you think for once bud? Did you also think bush really wanted comprehensive immigration ...to stop the flood of cheap illegal labor to the US too?
Did you think bush didn't calculate that the ideology you subscribe to would work against his talks regarding immigration. ...your too easy!

Here again, you don't have a clue. Personally, I think that US employers who employ illegals should be fined $225,000 for the first offense, and $425,000 for each thereafter, and a reward of $15,000 per illegal to any US citizen who reports a business employing illegals. No jobs, no illegals. It is clear that you are just talking out of your ass rather than from any actual knowledge. And don't bother bringing up education spending or the drug benefit because I am squarely against bush on those issues as well.

Classic bait and switch bud ...ditto for this ...see above.

Classic ignorance on your part. You know as well as I that you have brought a knife to an intellectual gunfight and you are no match for me. If you were, you would be discussing topics rather than calling names, attempting to mischaracterize my postions, and dodging the issues. But continue on, I find you mildly entertaining and I am sure that the rest find some slight humor in a small yappy little lap dog like you nipping at the heels of someone like me.

I simply refuse to come out and play on this one. It's gotten too far off from the original subject.

I know it got way off track. But I will offer up, that at this point. I think it is scare tactics by Bush, unfortunatly, the leaders of this country and to a lesser extent Iran are pushing this to far.

This whole idea of letting diplomatic channels work, the US has a bad track record on having that actually work. THe reason for this, it is that Bush and humans in general spend much more time talking ABOUT those they disagree with rather than talking WITH them.

I know it got way off track. But I will offer up, that at this point. I think it is scare tactics by Bush, unfortunately, the leaders of this country and to a lesser extent Iran are pushing this to far.

After 9/11 the American public was keenly aware of the fact that our national atmosphere, which so many of us know makes life so enjoyable in these United States, allowed an enemy with fatal, ill-intent to actually walk among us and so us harm. We were aware that we could be vulnerable and were not above physical attacks.

While the U.S. government has become increasingly socialistic over the past several decades, it is a form of socialism in a tense balance with capitalism. The capitalism of today is not a full reflection of the entrepreneurial capitalism of the 1800's and early 1900's.

The very tenants of this ideology blend are at extreme odds with fundamental and/or radical Islam. In most countries where it holds dominance we can fairly easily see the trappings of fascism, no matter what labels they want to put on it.

I don't believe that there is one war, conflict, military action or anything within this broadly used descriptor that can at all approach being for altruistic purposes. Serving a greater interest than defending the weak and helpless is always a factor.

So is it scare tactics to warn that we may be facing WW III? We should have the information by now that Iran is led by a power-mongering despot, who has deep hatred for the United States, for Israel, and for so many of his other neighboring countries. He has repeatedly stated his intent for nuclear power expansion, hinted strongly of developing the accompanying weaponry, and made no bones about wanting to wipe Israel (and then some) off the face of the earth.

I truly don't think so. I find it a sobering wake up call. If the classification of WW III is viewed as overkill and extreme, I'd suggest looking fully at what all is at stake, in our real world, and I would welcome a more accurate summary.

This whole idea of letting diplomatic channels work, the US has a bad track record on having that actually work. THe reason for this, it is that Bush and humans in general spend much more time talking ABOUT those they disagree with rather than talking WITH them.

The U.S. track record of diplomatic solutions being produced through using solely diplomatic channels is no worse than nearly any country out there, and much better than most. The problem is always that diplomacy only works in the same way Union / Corporate contract negotiations work - both parts can walk away from the table with enough to keep them happy for the contract duration. Look at the history of union contracts - UAW for example. For the past 25 years, contracts come up every 2-3 years, depending. And every contract has major sticking issues over the same subjects, over and over and over.

This is why diplomacy cannot work as a final solution. It can only bring to the table (requiring honesty from both parties) the issues most burning in their hearts to reach resolution on. And all those points of resolution may be absolutely meaningless in a short time - 2, 3, 5, 10 years.

Just food for thought on the amount of time spent talking about instead of to. If Rice and the State Department in total failed to talk about these people, countries and issues to others in government here, to other concerned governments and organizations (NATO or UN etc) and the American public in general there would be accusations of secrecy in the Administration.

Too tired to continue on this. Please feel free to make salient points.

There is no doubt that 9-11 changed how the US looks at the situation. I was one who didnt even know about 911 because I was in the woods hunting moose. The scheduled pickup for 9-12 I had for my hunting trip and no ability to communicate with my pickup, I was stuck for several days with a serious concern about my survival because the scare tactics by Bush to stop those flights put me in real and actual danger.

Knowing the social issues that revolved around that capitalistic endevour will never make me buy into this.

The same could be said for the other side. It really boils down to semantics.
