He additionally said that 18,000 people voted in the 2020 election in Maricopa County but were removed from voter rolls after the election and that several thousand voters were not registered by Election Day, but appeared to have been added to voter rolls soon afterwards.

The release of the Arizona audit findings comes as election investigations move forward in other states, like Texas, where Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) earlier this week announced a full forensic audit of four counties. Ongoing 2020 election audit efforts continue in Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Wisconsin.

Democrats and local officials repeatedly attempted to block the Maricopa County audit, including with multiple failed legal challenges.
