AN OPEN LETTER TO
PRESIDENT OBAMA

Dear President Obama:

You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike
Any of the others, you truly scare me.

You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.

You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive
Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no
Visible signs of support.

You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth
Growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.

You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.

You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus
Don't understand it at its core.

You scare me because you lack humility and 'class', always blaming others.

You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned
Yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to
Publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail..

You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the 'blame America '
Crowd and deliver this message abroad.

You scare me because you want to change America to a European style
Country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector.

You scare me because you want to replace our health care system
With a government controlled one.

You scare me because you prefer 'wind mills' to responsibly
Capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves.

You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose
That lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of
Living in the world.

You scare me because you have begun to use 'extortion' tactics
Against certain banks and corporations.

You scare me because your own political party shrinks from
Challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.

You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider
Opposing points of view from intelligent people.

You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both
Omnipotent and omniscient.

You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything
You do.

You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the
Limbaugh's, Hannity's, O'Reillys and Becks who offer opposing,
Conservative points of view.

You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.

Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will
Probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

Lou Pritchett - Retired VP of Procter & Gamble

This letter was sent to the NY Times but they never acknowledged it.
Big surprise. Since it hit the Internet, however, it has had over
500,000 hits. Keep it going. All that is necessary for evil to succeed
Is that good men do nothing. It's happening right now.*

How did a majority of American voters fail to understand who BO is before they elected him? I knew before he beat Hillary that he was an anti-American Marxist.

Yeah, I'm sure it is a hit, with the righttards, and with those who wanted to find out why the former Vice President of Proctor and Gamble is the FORMER Vice President of Proctor and Gamble. What a hate-filled rant that was. Myself, I don't believe it is genuine. If it is, it's a sad statement about the corporate leadership in this country (or lack thereof).

Of course, the Socialistic, left wing, Obama loving NYT wouldn't publish such a letter! How obvious can their liberal slant be.... What's that? Letters to the editor policy?

Letters to the editor should only be sent to The Times, and not to other publications. We do not publish open letters or third-party letters.

Letters for publication should be no longer than 150 words, must refer to an article that has appeared within the last seven days, and must include the writer's address and phone numbers. No attachments, please.

We regret we cannot return or acknowledge unpublished letters. Writers of those letters selected for publication will be notified within a week. Letters may be shortened for space requirements.

Oh, never mind then.

In other words, you can't refute anything the author said in the letter, but you hate it anyway, so you've decided to call it names, change the subject, smear the author, and try to get people to think he said something that isn't so even when you can't support that idea.

Got it.

What's to pick apart? In other words, it's a load of unmitigated hate-filled crap. It's that simple. If you can't see that, that's your problem, sonny.

There is nothing in the letter that hasn't been discussed at length on rant radio. The OP intimated that the NYT had ignored the letter for political reasons

This letter was sent to the NY Times but they never acknowledged it.
Big surprise.

It isn't a big surprise, as their letters to the editor policy say right up front that they won't publish such a long letter, and won't respond to letters not published.

It's the same policy most newspapers have, nothing new, nothing surprising.

Why not just say that Barack Obama lacks experience, that he is a liberal Democrat whose spending policies are running the government into debt even faster than his predecessor?

Why not just say that you don't like his politics, don't agree with his domestic spending, or his foreign policy or whatever?

Why keep bringing up nonsense about Obama the radical Marxist who is not an American, who is out to get us? Reasonable people just don't buy that.

Can you cite one part of the letter that you find especially offensive, or untrue?

I would really like for you to prove what you find to be untrue.

BTW, when similar letters were written about Bush did you find them equally "hate-filled", or "racist"?

You can't prove a negative. I would really like you to PROVE that any of the accusations spelled out in the letter ARE true, and not assinine, hate-filled, rhetoric meant to show complete and utter contempt for the president of the United States.

Just for clarification:

He was responding to my post, which reads in part:

"You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose

That is no longer true. We are 13th. as of 2009.

Maybe he meant that the U.S. wealthy have the highest standard of living?
