I'm a product of the public school system and I don't remember being taught anything about morals or values but does that mean I'm not a good person? How about parents teach kids about morals and values and let the public schools teach kids about everything else.

It's always possible that Republicans/"moralists" will Retreat...once we let God back-into our schools. ​

Your right the Liberals and Democrats like to blame Bush and the GOP but I remember back in the 90's how much the GOP and Republicans blamed everything on Clinton...

.....after trying to get Carter...when Republicans could only manage to honor/endorse/maintain his "D.C.-outsider" status, in their desperate-efforts to make him appear a totally-ineffective President. That's right....we (who've been plugged-into politics, since the mid-'60s) have seen Republicans' (present) efforts, once before.

This battle's been goin'-on since Watergate....and, Republicans REFUSE to let-it-go and move-on.

One of the topics that is not taught in the public schools, aside from history, is the ability of "critical thinking". Children no longer have the ability to think for themselves. They are no longer, in many school system, allowed to question what they are being taught.

WELL, Ktucan , The GOVERNMENT schools have control of their students for more hours of the school day then the PARENTS . So , it is very important our GOVERNMENT schools teach proper MORALS and VALUES.
For the past SIXTY YEARS at least our GOVERNMENT schools have FAILED to do this. Today we have the NEA, a corrupt union controlling the radicial leftist agenda that teaches its Anti- God message. Many parents are not aware of this brain washing their kids receive on a daily basis.
These Government schools even OFFER FREE breakfast and after school treats to HOLD YOUR CHILDREN under their Spell for even longer hours.
SEX EDUCATION has been turned into PORNO instruction in MANY Government run schools. PREGANT STUDENTS are looked upon with favor by Government School Officials!
I could go on for hours concerning the CORRUPTION of our YOUNG CHILDREN by GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS , if you doubt me , GO visit YOUR CHILD during school hours and see and listen to what is being taught!! It will scare YOU!!
If we can eliminate liberalism and its propaganda from the Goverment Schools then OUR JOB at HOME teaching proper MORALS and PRINCIPLES wil become soooo much easier!!
THE NEA!!! is not a HEALTHY UNION for our CHILDREN!!

Like I said it's the responsibility of the parents to teach their kids at the end of the School Day. I'm tired of hearing this SoS every time. It's like the only educational out reach is just at the schools. Our public school systems need to be fixed and the private schools are in the same boat as well. I don't need to visit my kids at their schools because I work during the day so I don't have time to just leave and snoop to make sure my kids are learning something when I know they are and it may not be to my liking but that is where me and my wife step in and teach them our selves when it comes to values. There are two sides to every story ALWAYS and I'm just curious do you have kids? Would you like it better if the public school systems taught what you believed in? What about the NEA? Do you think that all the unions in this country need to be done away with? Be honest? I see you and many other conservatives constantly bash unions like there some kind of evil organizations that are hell bent on destroying the country. You ever stop and think that maybe back in the day if company's and the corporations would have done the right thing and treated their workers with respect and paid them an honest days work then maybe we wouldn't have unions in the first place? Unions aren't going any ware and I wouldn't want them too in the first place. They have a purpose and if you don't like then tough. It's the same thing that can be said about the Media as well. Were not about to have one side to an argument in this country and that will never happen. As much as you guys on the right want to have a totally leaning conservative government and media I'm here to tell you it's not going to happen. I was once a Union Goon, a Liberal, walking a picket line, making peanuts as an income. I WOKE UP!! Asked GOD for HELP! He directed my life, I obtained a better education after I left Government schools. I obtained a better job, never belonged to a Union again, I earned more money by working smarter.
